A very good EV with some minor annoyances

Excellent handling; very comfortable; lots of room for a sedan; decent acceleration; adequate driving convenience features such as self-steering and ACC; excellent mileage (350 for the basic trim model) Not so good: no way to adjust the vehicle proximity warning sound; has motor on and off switch (utterly unnecessary in an EV); must lock and unlock the doors with fob before able to disconnect the charging cable.

14 month old Hyundai 2025 SEL

Would like to give a 4.5 star rating. Driving and handling is a 5. No mechanical problems. Disappointed with interior upholstery. Water spots are annoying. Open the door while raining and the interior is waterspotted requiring a cleaning of entire door surface. It’s an undesirable material.

My 4-door Porsche

Love this car (my 27th). It drives like a dream and is very user friendly. I only have one huge gripe: the nav system doesn’t hold a candle to my 2014 Chrysler 300. The biggest problem is that it is lacking most street names. It’ll tell you the road you are on… not a big help! The graphics are lackluster. I have a Ph.D in geography and I’d give this a D-.

Love my Ioniq 6

It works now but it does not dazzle, and I wonder if it break

The vehicle works. It does not have the same kind of pickup that many EVs have. But, it holds its own on the freeway. Hyundai and Kia have had problems with the charging control unit on their cars. And, the Ioniq 6 has the part that has been associated with these problems. So, I wonder when I will find myself stranded with a vehicle that's been bricked. I do not like that some of the controls are inside the touch screen. If you moved the window controls to the door, you would have space for physical buttons that I can easily use while operating the car.

Good, but….

I’ve had my vehicle for 1 year & 8 months, I feel it’s a good vehicle. Things that would make it better is plug and charge, locks when you walk away, a better infotainment system (including navigation) and the app is subpar. I do love the spaciousness and the ride!

Ioniq 6 Review

I enjoy driving my Ioniq 6 as it has great pickup and many features to help me drive safely. It does have features I don't enjoy. The touch features to turn on air conditioning fade out in daylight. I can't see then during the day only at night. The setting for automatio turn on for the lights gets turned off frequently when the bar is used for the turn signal.

Awesome EV

I absolutely love this car. The styling is gorgeous inside and out. This is not my first EV but it is one of the best I’ve had. The ride is very comfortable and in sport mode it is a blast to drive. I think it’s such a shame these cars aren’t selling well. I really wanted to get the 2026 model but it won’t be coming to America. Really hoping that’ll change.

Awesome EV. Get one while you can. Discontinued in the US after 2026.

I love everything about this car! Though it's not a rocket, like an AWD or dual motor EV some other brands produce, it's plenty quick, very agile, smooth and quiet. I'm 6'3, so there's little headroom to spare, but it's there. The front and rear seats are very spacious and comfortable. Many of the interior components (seats, carpets, floor mats, even parts of the dash) are made from recycled materials which is important to me. Not much trunk or frunk space, but then again 99% of the time it's just me in it, and my golf clubs fit in the trunk. It's also a head-turner: 2025 LTD RWD in black with black wheels and heavily tinted glass, so it kinda looks like Darth Vader's Batmobile, especially with the violet interior lights. Head up display gives a bit of cockpit type feel. I like the long horizontal touchscreen and find the menus, setup, and infotainment easy to navigate. Love the sun/moon roof which reduces the need for range reducing climate control. I set up the regenerative braking to mid-range which allows for some coasting, but it kicks in in plenty of time to allow for very light, nearly zero pedal braking. My trips are almost entirely city driving so the range is actually better than advertised in my experience. No problems whatsoever after 10 months of ownership.

Love the car

This has been an absolutely wonderful car. To be honest, I cannot think of anything. I don't like about it from the way it looks to the way it drives to the features and benefits to me it's just a home run.

Hyped! Very Average Car

The car never gives the range that they publicize. And if you use AC it lowers the range even further. The range it shows changes on every charge. So every full charge gives a different estimated range. Not very accurate to use. When I brake and am stuff in traffic the alert system keeps beeping alerting a car ahead even tho I'm stopped with brakes pressed.
