I like the quality and the drive of the vehicle. I wish that there was no reminder for service with nothing to do on a electric verhicle. I also wish I had wireless Apple Carplay.

Poorly designed dashboard control panels. Smooth EV ride.

After studying climate science at university and reading Laudato Si (Pope Francis), I was convinced it was time to get my first full EV. I'm glad I did. I love the EV aspect of the Ioniq 5 and bypassing every gas station, but a big frustration is the poorly designed dashboard. Overall, we've gone overboard with the degree to which we rely on touchscreens. Automakers need to bring back more knobs, buttons, and switches. On this car, it's incredibly odd that some necessary features seem to be touch controls (eg, climate, seat warmer) and others seem to be buttons (media). Make the MOST COMMONLY USED ALL BUTTONS - and maybe duplicate them as touch controls (or touch screen) as well. There isn't clear organization of the dashboard or steering wheel control by function. It seems like you just tried to squeeze it all in without much thought of layout. As mentioned earlier, there are buttons (albeit the type that only minimally depress therefore giving less muscle-memory training to the body, important in ergonomic design, yet still infinitely better than touch-only controls) and then the row right above them are touch-only controls. Make them all buttons. Among other Ioniq 5 drivers, I've heard the poor layout of the controls as a common complaint - sometimes the only complaint.

First EV - great deal, and loving the car

It's my first EV, the lease was a great deal, and I'm loving the experience. I'm a little nervous about the ICCB issue, but seems like Hyundai is ahead of this now...

Great EV

Great car: very cool looking, super comfortable interior, intuitive controls. Only downsides, truly, are the lack of rear windshield wiper (resolved on new models) and the range, especially after replacing the touring tires for all season (necessary for my area) the total range is about 200 miles with a full charge.

Fantastic vehicle and a pleasure to drive!

Have had nothing but fun in this car since new, and love how responsive, quiet and enjoyable it has been to drive. Battery effeciency seems great and interior is awesome!

Great car; too bad trunk hatch is loose (even after a service)

Other than hatch, no complaints. would have been nice to have a wiper on back window.....

2024 Hyundai Ionia 5

I absolutely love my Ioniq 5! It has a spacious & elegant interior and it drives great! If I could change one thing it would be a larger wiper fluid reservoir and have the wiper fluid spray better to get more windshield coverage. Otherwise, I wouldn’t change anything else.

2024 Ioniq 5 limited

Happy with the vehicle besides minor complaints including the Rear Hatch rattle needing addressing. Also pre-conditioning the battery is somewhat of a hassle. Headlights could be brighter, wind shield wiper blades are poor quality. A few non led lights remain in vehicle.

Wonderful vehicle

Love my Hyundai Ioniq5. It's smooth, classy, modern, very safe, and I just love the steering assist and adaptive cruise on long highway trips. Driving is so fun.

Lovely Limited Leased Ioniq5

We love this car! I share it with my husband, and in the limited trim it gives us both what we needed from a new car. The interior feels solid, the electric range is excellent, the charging speed is FAST, and it's a great little car. So far there's been very minimal maintenance, just one recall that the dealer dealt with quickly. It hauls a lot, is comfortable as driver and passenger (heated steering wheel, heated and cooling seats in the front) and the pano moonroof is great to see the sky and let in light (but also it has a smart cover to close if you get too much sun!). Overall we love this car and it'll be interesting to see what car we do next after the 3 year lease is up.

Somewhat bland overall, and that's good

After a year's ownership I've noticed a few problems. Biggest concern is when switching to reverse quickly the drive mode is still in Drive. This is dangerous when you press the pedal and think you're going backward but forward instead. The wiper blades were already in bad shape after a few months and should be replaced as soon as you buy this. Driver side vents are weak, especially the left vent. Finally the climate control is a bit fussy and makes me miss simple "oven knob" controls. Overall the car drives very well and delivers what it promised, a humble no-nonsense transporter that doesn't show off but will leave any sports car in the dust when it wants to.

Outstanding EV Choice!

The vehicle sets a high bar, but the independent dealerships’ experience brings the car’s modernity down. It feels like the old-fashioned countryside used car dealers, with salespeople lying, misinforming, and not standing by their words after closing the sale. I’ve never returned to Rick Case Hyundai, FL and have no plans at all to do so. Hopefully my next Hyundai will be purchased through an online direct sales process. Fortunately, after all the dealership frustration, the car made me appreciate every positive aspect of the purchase.

2024 Hyundai Ioniq 5

I love to look at my Ioniq 5. I think it is one of the most beautiful cars on the market. The features the limited version has are very useful and good for safety. The heads up display and the a/c in the seat is awesome. However, there is a lot of duplication and the touch line of a/c buttons etc are easy to accidentally actuate. I would give the car a B+. However, the car dealers are inept, unknowledgeable and arrogent. Diego at Manly Hyundai told me about a rattle to "get used to It"
