My Dream Car....2012 Genesis Sedan
I used to drop by Garden Grove Hyundai just to day dream and look at the cars thinking that one day I might own one. I especially liked the Equus and the Genesis. Keep in mind I never went there with the thought of buying a car, not for awhile anyway. I had my 2007 Camry with 250,000 miles on it, and no cash for a down payment. There was a saleswoman named Ashley (who has since returned to Korea), who came up to me and asked if I was interested in buying and I said no, just looking around. She told me they just got a 2012 Genesis demo in with only 5k miles on it. It was fully loaded. Of course she asked if I wanted to test drive and hesitantly said ok. I told her it was great, but still wasn't ready to buy. That's when Scott came out, and made a deal I couldn't refuse, and I ended up buying it. To tell you the truth, sometimes I say to myself, what did I get myself into? But then I say, just enjoy it, you've worked hard and need something nice for yourself. I love my Genesis. I had a 2002 Acura CL, which was a really cool car, but honestly, I have never had so many people come up to me and tell me what a nice car the Genesis is, and how they liked it, and that's even after 2 years of ownership, I still have people come up and comment on the car. I'm really amazed at that, and consider it another perk of owning the car. Everything is great on the car, but you can't beat the 17 speaker Lexicon audio / DVD player. Awesome!! The whole Genesis experience is fantastic, and the value was right on for the money spent. My 2012 probably has more extras than the 2015 and I paid a lot less for it as well. Hopefully they won't get too expensive, not that they're not worth it, because they are. They only thing I need to find out is how long my car will last, and I won't know that for a few years.
