Lovely car

Great car, drives smooth, great on gas, reliable. Pros out weight the cons. Cons are the size, very compact not much arm and leg space. Not good for traveling long distances with a family. No cup holders or temperature control in the back seat. Love the infotainment dash it’s very technologically advanced and customizable. I would say this car is suited more for young people with one or two children, or no children. It does sit extremely low to the ground not really good for people that have hip and knee . you have to be mindful of things in the road or how you pull in or out of places because you can easily damage your front end or undercarriage. Love the option for self driving but wish it were more reliable, depending on what kind of road you are driving on the speed you are going and other factors the self driving mode does turn off and on on its own making it unreliable. I understand it’s a safety feature and they don’t want you to take your hand off the wheel or your eyes off the road but I wish that it stayed on a little bit better than what it does like its competition of self driving cars. A lot of the material they made the car with is very cheap and easily broken. It is not good in the winter time if you get a little bit of fog or ice on the camera, it will disable all of the features like the rear camera and some of the safety features.

Love it

The car is great. Comfortable, roomy, handles well, and accelerates nicely. The info center is large & easy to view, the speedometer has different options as far as appearance, but is large and easy to read at a glance. What I do NOT like is the fit of the parts. The hood overlaps the front quarter panels by nearly a 1/4 of an inch, and there are gaps between just as large. Even between the doors. When it rains, I can hear water running down the inside of the door. It does NOT leak, let me be clear, but you can hear the water running down between the door & frame on the outside of the door gaskets. It's aesthetics, really. The fitment looks like it was sloppily done, and water being loud enough to hear while driving is a result. It is loud as a result of that. Larger gaps = more cabin noise. Also, and this is personal preference, but I wish the wipers were sequential sweep, where the left-side wiper moves left, and the right-side wiper moves right. My old car had that, and I loved that about it. More windshield was cleaned/wiped than with the left-hand pivoting wipers. But, for the cost, it is a great value.

This is my fifth Hyudai !

Devoted Hyundai Buyer ! I've had two Accents and Three Elantras. I usually get the convenience packages so I get a few more options at a very good price. Comfortable, nice looking, all the bells and whistles without the horrendous price other manufacturers charge. Plenty of power for highway and around town. I smile every time I see my Hyundai. My 2023 Elantra was destroyed by a careless driver who swerved in front of me, but I was able to walk away from the accident. I replaced the 2023 Elantra with the 2024 Elantra with convenience package. You have a customer for life. I would have liked an upgraded sound package, but the standard sound package is acceptable.

Great affordable car

I bought this as a commuter car for rotational work on 14/14 schedule 1000 miles round trip. Car averages 40-45 mpg and is perfect for my use

Looked Nice; problems abound

I liked the way the car looked and drove on the initial test drive so I went through with the purchase. Within the first week, the car was leaking oil and was in the shop for a week. After about a month of getting the car back, the car wouldn't start and had no power at all...after purchasing a new battery, I did some research on my own and found that the vehicles systems can continue to draw power even if the vehicle is off.

I've never had a brand new car

I bought a brand new Elantra. Within 4 months I was having a hard time starting it. Service department looked at it and told me it was starting sluggishly cause I was putting bad quality gas in it. So, for 6 weeks I put 93 octane in it with same outcome. I made an appointment with service again. Now the vehicle is 7 months old. It's diagnosed with a bad fuel pump(which obviously was installed bad in a brand new car). 4 days later I get my car back. I hate this car! The seats are miserable uncomfortable! I can't turn off driving safety features. Why?? I live on country roads and I am constantly crossing the lines. I know when to take a break. Also, the car slams on brakes when cars are NOT in danger ofe hitting! I am done with Hyundai.

Upset about Horn

I purchased my car new and recently received a letter regarding a potential issue with the horn. Unfortunately, my horn is not working, and I rely on my car for daily driving. I contacted the dealership, but they informed me that I would need to leave my car for repairs. They also mentioned that they do not provide rental cars, which is problematic since I need my vehicle for work. I believe it’s unfair that I should have to pay for a rental car while mine is being fixed, especially since it was brand new when I bought it and I have only had it for a year. This issue is not due to any actions on my part, and it’s frustrating to be driving without a horn. This situation has made me very upset.

Affordable and Reliable

Very happy with my Hyundai Elantra. It has so many awesome features that are easy to use. Also the vehicle is great on gas. The Bluelink unlocks even more features.
