This car is a confortable roomy cruiser and capible track car in one sporty looking package. The car get good mileage on hwy. Roomy trunk and back seat. Fast and fun with 6SP manual transmission very fast on a track.

The best bang for buck fwd sports car ever made.

Overall this is an amazing sports car that you can daily. Admittedly though the 19-inch wheels are harsh for potholes and City driving where roads aren't great.

More fun for less money and it can fit a rear facing child seat

Th Elantra N is 90% as good as a civic type R for a lot less money. The civic wins on build quality and horsepower but the elantra is equally as fun to drive and wins on rear seat leg room, warranty, and price. You can't ignore that it is still an economy car on the inside but for 10k less than the civic type R and GR corolla I'm OK with some road noise and hard plastic interior. If you enjoy driving you will love this car. I have 2 toddlers and no issue fitting two car seats in the rear. Im 5'11" and fit a rear facing child seat behind me without touching the seat. I couldn't do that in a civic or a even a 4 runner.

Almost budget performance

The bumper clips broke after a few to many speed bumps and the octane learning practically ruined my appreciation for this vehicle within weeks. I paid cash for this car expecting it to be the greatest car I've ever owned only to find that the cheap plastics are not covered by warranty and that I wouldn't even be able to use 100% of my car without first performing a ritual sacrifice of a quarter tank of gasoline. Not to mention that if you look at the gas pedal funny it resets the Octane learning and you have to start from scratch. What is the point of having a wireless phone charger and no built in wireless android auto. It's the stupidest thing ever, pick one, either plugged in or completely wireless.

Please just require premium fuel and remove octane learning PLEASE

I love everything about the car the exhaust note the handling the suspension the transmission it is all incredible. But my one big issue with this vehicle is the octane learning. I think premium fuel should be required and the vehicle should default to octane learned mode always. This whole process is complicated and unnecessary. It also doesn’t help the car doesn’t have a big tank so you re fill often and therefore would need to octane learn often.

Fun? Yes, but not without problems.

If you buy this vehicle and you want maximum performance out of it then get the DCT. The six-speed manual is more fun to drive but it is also impossible to octane learn to get maximum horsepower. Hyundai has made it impossible to octane learn consistently and for it to retain that information. Maximum performance should be available 100% of the time. Also Hyundai makes it a nightmare to get documented service bulletins actioned upon at Hyundai dealerships without jumping through hoops and going through unmitigated hell. Car looks nice but as you get closer and start to feel things and notice body lines and panel gaps you will see that the price is reflected in the quality. It's sad to say that something that costs the better part of $40,000 is considered cheap!

Gas Mileage is better than advertised!

This is absolutely the best car I've ever owned. The split between togglable fun mode, excellent gas mileage (i'm hitting 28-32 mpg's on my cross state drives). I've had no issues.

Best starter ‘track car’ on the market!

The Elantra N is a phenomenal car for anyone who doesn’t want to deal with the extremities of dealing with tuning, exhaust modifications, and “make it fit” track performance parts. But ALSO, it’s the perfect performance sedan for getting around whether short distance or long. It has enough power to get you going both slow and fast, and the factory upgrades on it such as tires, lowered active sport suspension, and other things make it very sporty, clean, fast, and definitely full of personality (especially with the exhaust pops and gurgles). The bucket seats may not be for everyone, but they’re extremely practical and very fitting for anyone of any size. I do believe they could’ve added more horsepower instead of 275 but the 2027 model should be much more faster and very much more leaned towards performance with the upcoming 2.5T and wider stance. Regardless, the 2025 Elantra N is VERY VERY EXCELLENT and will absolutely hold its value.

Best car Iv'e owned

I purchased my Elantra N, honestly, for the looks, but tgen I drove it! The N handles amazingly and even saved my skin through its responsive handling and glued to the ground performance! It in NO WAY lacks power. Hyundai has done their best to squeeze every pony out of this engine, and the turbo helps. It was a EXTREMELY sad day when, due to medical emergency, crashed this car and I have to say that the overall design and solidness of this car saved me from severe injury!! Would 100% buy again if I qas allowwd to drive again.. (Damn medical conditions)
