So far, so good
I just bought my 2016 Accent four months ago. It has been reliable and I have had no problems. Today the tire pressure light came on, but that is standard with changing cold weather; air just needs to be added to the tires. There are decent amenities for this model. The only thing I suggest is not to overpay, even if you want to do a trade in. The 0% APR helped me replace my previous car which had $7,000 negative equity, but I would not sign on to the same deal again. It is better to drive a higher end vehicle and pay more money to the principal in order to get your payments down, or improve your credit and go into the dealership with your own loan so that you can negotiate a lower sales price point.
A nice surprise was the car's handling, and you just need to switch off the Eco mode button if you need a little extra power to maneuver more efficiently in rush hour traffic. Gas mileage is decent, maintenance costs are low, and the only thing I've needed so far is an oil change.
Overall, I would say that because of the standard warranty and a great dealership to get maintenance service from (Alexandria Hyundai) I am satisfied with the vehicle. I will not change it anytime soon, and I look forward to paying off this car, a good purchase with a great APR, in order to have reliable transportation.
