Nice Car but I Wouldn't Wish the Dealership on my Worst Enemy

I like the car. Unfortunately, there's only 1 Genesis dealership in Tulsa and their finance manager David Skinner fraudently added extended warranties and "polysteel coating" (must be the new "undercoating" from the old used car salesman trope) to my loan to the tune of almost $13,000, in spite of me specifically saying I did not want any of that, and all in violation of the Truth in Lending Act. I was never shown a final sales sheet showing what my loan amount and payments were going to be, specifically because had he done that, I would've immediately seen what he'd done and insisted it be removed before the loan was submitted. Instead, I didn't find out about it until 2 weeks later when my papers arrived in the mail. It then took more than 4 months to have the extra warranties refunded, they didn't refund the full amount, and they're still refusing to refund the "polysteel coating" that was never applied in the first place, even after talking with the GM. And now, since I have to have the car serviced at a Genesis dealership, I'm forced to continue doing business with this same dealership. The only other Genesis dealerships in the state are a couple hours away and as far as I can tell are owned by the same dealership group as this one, Ted Moore Auto Group. I will never buy another Genesis vehicle because of this experience.

Best car I’ve ever owned

I’ve never had a car that actually doesn’t Make a sound. No rattles whatsoever,even going over bumps. Great sound system and comfortable ride are obvious. The digital display has an abundance convenience and safety choices. Fit and finish are best I’ve seen. Only complaint I could make is the complexity of the digital dash as it took me weeks to get used to. I highly recommend this vehicle.

Love my Genesis GV80

We love our Genesis GV 80! It is an amazing car and literally can drive itself. We love the features and the technology. We learn something new every time we drive it. We purchased the deep green and love the color. The backseat is more than enough room for our dog and plenty of space for luggage in the back. We have only had a couple of minor glitches with switching between apple CarPlay and Sirius radio when we first got it. But it seems to have fixed itself. Also, the dealership was great to work with and called us a few days after we brought it home, to see if we had any issues or questions.

So happy with my 3.5 GV80

This vehicle “spoke to me” from the moment I got in. Wow! I just love everything about it. Still learning all that it does - which is a lot! The styling is beautiful inside and out - and stands apart from other luxury SUVs. The 3.5 turbo engine really does a nice job getting out of its own way. Snappy.

2026 Genesis GV80 Prestige Black...Batman's ride

As a longtime BMW owner, I wasn’t actively shopping for something new—but I’m very glad we gave Genesis a chance. Online reviews were strong, but you never really know until you experience it yourself. We took the car out for an extended test drive and treated it like real-world ownership—highways, backroads, rough pavement, and smooth cruising. We spent time with everything: windows, sunroof, sound system, seat massage, controls, and every seating position. What stood out immediately was the attention to detail. The materials feel genuinely premium, the layout is intuitive, and everything is thoughtfully designed. Most importantly, it’s incredibly comfortable. The performance is absolutely there—on par with the competition—but it’s delivered in a smooth, refined way that emphasizes luxury over aggression. And quiet....this thing has an incredibly quiet cabin. After thoroughly putting it through its paces, we’re confident we made the right choice. Genesis has truly established itself as a premium brand.
