Have fun and drive in luxury!

I love my new Genesis GV80! It looks fantastic inside and out. It's a comfortable car with so many fun features that I'm still learning about things it can do. The radio/sound is incredible. It virtually drives for you and the remote control parking assist is wonderful to show off. Little features like being able to leave audio thoughts/messages to yourself are very helpful to me as an executive that thinks a lot in the car. I can now record my thoughts and not forget them. It hooks up to my phone easily and has a ton of room in the back for passengers. It's fun to drive too! I can't say enough about this car. The only real issue I'd mention is that the side door panels aren't as wide as I'd like them. They can hold papers, but bottles of water have to be squeezed in. The rear actual power plug has come in handy a couple of times. And, the fact that the rear seats move and are heated as well make it very nice when driving other adults. I can't say anything about long term dependability as mine is fairly new. Still.. at least at this point I'd tell you to purchase this car! You'll be glad you did.

In love with my new Genesis

My last vehicle was a Lexus RX 350, it served me great for 11 years. I did a lot of research into my next vehicle, as I knew that I would keep it for a long period of time. I wanted to keep reliability, low maintenance and comfort that I’ve always had in my luxury vehicles. I am glad I waited and did my research- I know I found the best vehicle for me. I use my car often for work travel and it is a pleasure to be in my car sometimes up to six hours a day. I am comfortable, I love the look of the interior, cabin is quiet, beautiful, amazing features, user-friendly, easy to use. Sometimes I joke, that my vehicle is my happy place because it brings a sense of calm and serenity. Not to mention, my purchasing experience the Genesis of Kennesaw, Ga was stellar, the service package and warranty give me a piece of mind as well. 10/10 in every category.

Love the car from top to bottom

The car drives great looks great and I love the space that comes with th GV80. The only negative is it has so much stuff that even after to read about it and try and use it sometimes becomes to confusing.

GV80 3.5 is exceptional in comfort and performance

GV80 3.5 is a great combination of comfort, performance and utility. We are especially impressed with the numerous safety features and comfort of the front passenger seats. Vehicle handling is responsive with adequate power for heavy traffic.

My New 2026 Genesis GV80

Overall, I think my 2026 GV80 is a well made vehicle. There are a few things I will review with the dealer when my first appointment comes due. The technology is so advanced that the dealer should be able to explain some things to me. It isn't anything mechanical, mostly technical.

Good, Bad and what were they thinking?

95% of my GV80 is good, the rest is bad or is so far out in the technical field it is totally useless. This car has so many actions one can not remember all that it does. This bring up the question, "was this necessary?". You can set in the driver's seat and spend all day trying to figure out what you want this car to do and then you realize that the day is gone and you have not completed the "To Do" list. And then there is my pet peeve that I just don't understand! The car has tire pressure monitoring that is totally useless. To check you tires, you have to DRIVE IT AROUND for a while and the only information is it's OK or there is Low Pressure in a tire. The psi of the tires is not shown! If something is wrong then I have to drive the car back home and check all the tires by hand to meet the safe criteria. I would like to get in the car and turn it on and have the tire pressure for each wheel show on the dash. I would also like to be able to check the pressures from the Genesis app before I make a trip. My General Motors car does all of this in very easy fashion. Another gripe I have is when you exit the car and walk away, it does not automatically lock the doors. You have to wait for all to disembark and then you have to touch a button on the door handle to lock the car. If you don't, the car will ring the phone app and ask you to lock the car with your phone. It seems to me that an automobile for this magnitude should be able to minimize the motions necessary to get something to work. Grip 3: The exit feature of the seat is set by the factory and can not be changed. It could still be moved back a little farther and could go down another inch or two. I do this manually every time I get into the the front seat. This would help immensely as I am slightly handicapped and do have trouble climbing up into the seat. I guess that I'm a little spoiled with this car as it does so much, one gets to expect more from it. I am impressed with all that it does do and I'm waiting to see if the next update of the system will get rid of some of the glitches that the system has. The ride is wonderful! Very smooth and easy to control. Inside comfort for passengers is always impressive.

2026 gv80 honest review

Technology is outdated/not up to other brands. Finger print verification mostly not good. Rather have facial. A camera is already on the steering wheel looking at the driver. Hmm. A little rough riding but I suppose it’s an suv. Would be nice if it came with running boards. Wish the dashboard was better designed.
