Love my Genesis

I love everything about my GV80! The ride, the accessories and safety features. The only problem that I have had is sometimes the screen goes black, and I lose my ssettings

Beautiful car but the technology needs to get out of its own way

The best thing about the Genesis GV80 is undoubtedly its appearance. The exterior styling is stunning, and the fit and finish of the interior are second to none. Unfortunately, that's where much of my enthusiasm ends. Ironically, some of the very features that attracted us to the vehicle have become our biggest frustrations. The adaptive cruise control and driver-assistance systems are particularly disappointing. When the vehicle detects traffic braking ahead, it often applies the brakes far too aggressively, followed by acceleration that is anything but smooth or refined. It's a jerky, uncomfortable experience that feels completely out of place in a luxury vehicle. The driver-attention monitoring system is another major annoyance. It's so overly sensitive that I can't even wear certain sunglasses without the system deciding I'm not watching the road, despite looking straight ahead. It then disables the driving-assistance features, making the technology more frustrating than helpful. Even something as simple as switching between driver profiles is unnecessarily complicated and far from intuitive. Finally, after more than a year of ownership, I have to say the overall ride quality has been disappointing. I expected a much smoother, more refined driving experience from a vehicle in this price range. The bottom line: The GV80 looks and feels like a premium luxury vehicle when you're sitting in it, but the actual driving experience doesn't consistently live up to that promise. It's a beautiful vehicle with an exceptional interior, but some of the technology and driving characteristics that should make it a pleasure to own have instead become its biggest shortcomings.

New Car Review

I have a 2025 GV80 and there are many things that I love about it. Many features which are upgrades on other vehicles are standard on the Genesis, including many safety features. My favorite is the turn signal video. I also love the heads-up display. I’m not a fan of having to put my fingerprint or ID in every time I drive the car, I think it should only be required when changing drivers. But I do love how it resets to my settings after another driver. There seems to be issues with connection to the media, as my Apple Play does not always sync.

Best car ever

I change cars every 3 years and never get the same one twice .. But I did this time 2nd time I have leased a Genesis obsessed. The style is by far the best on the market and the luxury is amazing . Love the warranty . And I love my dealership .

My second GV80!!

My review is very simple. The GV80 3.5T Prestige is the best car I have ever owned. My first GV80 was a 2022. Loved it also. It is also the safest car with many safety features that amaze me like when I was merging onto I-95 in Miami and the dump truck in front of me stopped but I was watching the lanes to merge into and did not notice. My car slammed on brakes, sucked my seat belt which pushed me back into my seat! As this was happening I looked ahead and saw the dump truck about one foot ahead of me stopped. I would have definitely hit that truck if the car had not responded like this! It also has amazing comfort, massage driver seat for those long drives! Great tech convenience! Feels like driving a sports car with room for family!! You will be impressed!

It seems like a great move, but it ended up being a disaster

The car appears smart looking, but there are many designed laws and once you point them out to Genesis, they don’t stand behind their product and are not all that interested in customer satisfaction. They want to get into a luxury car market while giving you economy response.

Close to perfection

I love everything about my 2025 GV80 Prestige with the exception of the FAW System in particular and the technology in general. All fixable if Genesis will do so.

Bentley level of style and luxury for Cadillac prices

The Genesis GV80 Prestige gives you an interior that would be at home in a Bentley but with more attractive styling. The ride is smooth and composed. The quality of the interior is amazing. I never was interested in an SUV before this one because the styling did nothing for me. This is the best car I have ever owned - it is like driving a relaxation machine!
