So far, so good

I replaced my 10 year old Tesla Model S with this car. No complaints. Good performance. Ergonomics are excellent. Power and performance are there if needed. Had a good experience with the dealer. It's still pretty new, but I haven't noted any problems. Two areas that still lag behind my 10 year old Tesla are the app and road trip charging infrastructure, but hopefully both will improve in the lifetime of the car.

GV60

The exterior design is sleek and an eye catcher from the front or rear. Drive is really smooth . But high turning radius. Has issues with Level 2 charging speed. It various dramatically with different Electrify America Level 2 Fast Chargers . Software has lot of quirkiness . Not sure what folks were thinking , when they desigined some of the restrictions. Parking Assist steps are extremely complex to understand. Still learning . Interious buttons gets extremely hot , if the vehicle is under a hot sun. You cant even touch the finger print reader or the gear shifter.

Great car

First EV car that I bought. Have had good experience so far. There's too many features of the car that are available but have yet to use and lazy to read how to use. Drive is really smooth and pretty happy with the car except it doesn't connect Android Auto wirelessly.

Genesis GV60

Fun car, great drive. Very good tech with safety in mind. Very good looks and unique styling and top-notch materials, especially interior. Some tech not working properly, but not a deal breaker. Don't see a lot of them around town, so nice to have a non-ubiquitous EV vehicle.

One of the best EV's on the market! Very fast,responsive, as well as very luxurious. Very few vehicles can even compare to it. The specs are far superior to most EV's that are in production. The body style is amazing, as well as the features. You must see it in person to appreciate.

Sporty and Luxurious

This car is beautiful, comfortable and so much fun to drive. The Performance version is extremely well made and worth the extra money. The paint is sparkly (in the sun), the seats are comfortable, the massage function is awesome and this car takes off like a rocket! This is our first Genesis and it won't be the last.

Love the car...quite disappointed in Genesis

Love the vehicle, I looked at number of EV and selected a GV60 because of it's looks inside and out and Genesis's reputation. However, I am very disappointed that Genesis's has not acknowledged or addressed the problem the vehicle has with disconnecting level 2 chargers. It appears from reading the Genesis Forum that this has problem has been around for some time. The owners of Hyundai/Genesis EV's have told Hyundai/Genesis of the problem and to-date, Hyundai/Genesis has not advised owners of Hyundai/Genesis EV's that the problem may exist or advised them of what they are going to do to fix it. Very disappointed in Genesis an that they are not protecting the value their brand and my GV60.

Love my ride!

I wanted a car that is not only super cool looking but also had the tech to match my style. Gv60 hits all of those expectations and then some. It's crazy that after a year of driving I'm still learning new things about the tech behind the car. I totally recommend this car is you want quality and a great ride.

Worst Paint in the industry.

Worst Paint in the industry. Never have I seen so much orange peel in a new car. Electronics inconsistent to even work. Bad Range. Replaced brake system at 1000 miles do to excessive noise and shifting in reverse. If I were to buy another car for my wife it would not be a Genesis GV60. Attention to detail, or lack there of, tells me a lot about a company.

Interrupted Charging at Level 2 charging stations is driving me crazy!

Interrupted Charging at Level 2 charging stations is driving me crazy! I can charge only 15-30 minutes straight before the GV60 stops charging on its own. I've taken it back to the Genesis dealer in April 2023. They said they found the problem and had to replace the charging console. When I got back the car, the car charged properly for about 2 weeks. Then the interrupted charging problem returned. I took the car back to the dealer. But they said they could not reproduce the charging problem. I suffered for a couple more months of interrupted charging. When I couldn't take it anymore, I returned it to the same dealer. This time they did find the interrupted charging issue and they claimed they fixed it. I'm very skeptical since the previous fix lasted only a couple weeks.

Most fun car that I have ever owned.

The Genesis GV60 is a lot of fun to drive and own. You will be fighting with those in your household over who gets to drive it each day. Installing a home charger is very convenient for keeping the car charged. The smoothe and quiet cabin while driving is something that has to be experienced to appreciate.

Although pricier than the popular Tesla competitor, the Genesis quality and well-thought out features are superior in our opinion. The more we get to know our vehicle, the more it exceeds expectations. We are happy with our choice and expect to remain so for the life of the vehicle.

Crazy fast amazing car

My wife and I truly love this car. It goes above and beyond in every possible way. The dealership experience was excellent. As was our sales person. My only grapes are a little small. The sound system seems impressive, except it has very little bass.

Automotive perfection

Unbeatable quality, style and performance. Great buying experience. Loads of fun to drive. Love the distinctive appearance and smooth acceleration. Genesis has been great about following up post-sale to make sure I am satisfied. The only negative is that the back passenger window and rear window create a difficult blind spot. But the other safety features mitigate this.

A good first effort

Overall impressed with the GV60. Good looks, creature comforts are nice. Continues to be held back by a mediocre dealership experience. Maybe a bit overpriced (even for a luxury EV). Technology is good, Android Auto integration is terrible. Interior view to the rear is difficult if not impossible due to the very thick rear pillars. With a dark interior the rear is VERY dark. I'd be interested to see what comes next from a completely new EV vice the proposed electric G80/GV70.

One of the best EVs in the market

The GV60 is the more luxurious of the trio of stablemates - the other two being the Kia EV6 and the Hyndai Ioniq 5. Of the three the GV60 has the best interior, but the Ev6 (which I drove several times) has the best handling. The exterior design is unique but not as expressive as the Ioniq 5. I find that while the acceleration is plenty fast, the heavy weight always makes itself felt especially in corners. Also, the suspension tuning can use some tweaks to make it more refined and predictable as befits the luxury car it is. I am hoping that an OTA will deliver wireless Carplay because, otherwise, at this price point, it is an unforgivable omission in 2023.

EV GV60

Excellent car...outstanding ride and comfort and lots of very important safety features. Owners manual is not that easy to read...pictures are of very poor quality. Youtube videos are very helpful to understand the many features of the car. Also the sales department was very transparent, helpful and very responsive with the purchase of the car.

I like overall of the car, however the following problem will made me re-think if I need to re-purchase of this car: 1. Cellphone connection and short cut to be able to make a phone call is not there. 2. the sound system is not as good as I would expected from such a name brand sound system. 3. The range below 250 miles is very in-convenience.

It says on the website that it has wireless CarPlay but it doesn’t. Also the salesman didn’t respond my text messages that he promised me that to order an all season floor mat for me. It supposed to be fully charged when I pick up my car but it wasn’t.
