Genesis g80

Well built car, very comfortable ride. Could definitely use a back window wiper. Lane assist very cool. Gas tank door would benefit from a rubber seal as it’s impossible to open on cold weather. Quality of interior is very good. Windshield wipers are not able to lift and leave up when it snows and snow and ice lock them in place and are not functional.

Stylish and Comfortable Sedan

The G80 is a very comfortable and well designed car in terms of esthetics as well as efficient interior placement of controls. The ride is very smooth and the car has plenty of acceleration. All the safety features are there also. Beautiful interior detailing and finishing.

2018 Genesis G80 Sport

Best in class. Highest featured, must impressive safety, highest warrant vehicle I’ve ever owned. Overall appearance and performance are outstanding. G80 Sport is fun to drive, sporty when it needs to be yet luxurious and well appointed and sophisticated for formal times. Won’t be my last Genesis purchase.

Total Excellence

The G80 is luxury and class. Its fit, finish, and handling are superb. Dealership support is unmatched. The ambiance you enjoy while driving is like tailor made clothing. The performance is never lacking. The questions you receive from others while walking to and from the G80 are never ending.

Impressive car

The G80 is our 4th Genesis. If you want a different brand of automobile with the same tech be prepared to buy a high end car for considerably more money. Of course some people have to have what they think is a status symbol. You cannot beat this care for value.

2018 Genesis G80

The G80 is a wonderful car. Powerful and quiet. Offers a luxury ride. The appointments in the car are very good and appear luxurious. Getting in and out of the driver's seat is not ideal. The driver's door can open wider than my left arm can reach -- may need a strap to help close the door. The steering wheel adjustment is limited and makes it difficult for me to enter the driver's seat. I wish the car had a front-facing camera to assist in pulling into parking places in a parking lot.

2018 Genesis G80 AWD

Good looking vehicle, great value. However there are flaws. Design and/or build quality of the suspension systems, selection of tires are questionable. Drive shaft fluttering/wobbling issue persists. Hyundai dealers should not handle Genesis vehicle.

Smooth and Quiet yet Powerful

Roomy, comfortable, quiet interior paired with a responsive, powerful and agile powertrain. It is like riding on a cloud and that is flying down the road. I have owned and driven other luxury brands and none of them compare with the what you get from Genesis.

Mislead

The G80 is supposed to be a luxury vehicle according to Terry Lee's commercials and all employees at the dealership. However, a luxury vehicle SHOULD NOT vibrate and certainly should not be designed to vibrate as the engineer who checked out my car stated. I'm paying for a luxury car but not getting a luxury ride. Very disappointing!

Would get another but.....

I have been more than satisfied with my G80. Based on the performance , styling , and dependability I would consider a Genesis for my next vehicle. But...... Recently I was interested in test driving a G70 as a possible replacement for my wife's Honda, only to find that the nearest Genesis dealership was now more than 100 miles from my home. So, as much as I may enjoy my G80, that is quite likely a deal breaker.

Genesis G80 Sport

Styling, performance, 5 year warranty and value for the money were the main reasons I purchased this vehicle over the Lexus L430 Sedan. The Lexus has just become too expensive for what it offers. The Genesis G80 Sport has been good alternative to Lexus at a much better price point. The car has been extremely fun to drive and very reliable. I am also happy with the 5 year warranty versus 3 year for the Lexus. My main concerns are that Genesis dealerships are not Independent ones at this time but just Hyundai dealerships trying to do both Hyundai and Genesis In the same shops. A big selling point of the Genesis is the Valet service but then it is not offered where I live since I am 60 miles from the dealership. Overall I am a happy customer after two years of ownership.

2018 Genesis G80 Sport

After researching vehicles on the Consumer Reports website, I was initially attracted to the Genesis G80 because of its value relative to the two other vehicles I was considering, the Cadillac CT6 and Lincoln Continental. The G80 Sport I ended up purchasing was $10-$15K less expensive than either of these vehicles. I was also impressed with its 3 year warranty and complimentary valet service. After test driving all three vehicles, I felt that the G80 Sport offered the best mix of handling and quality regardless of price. The twin turbo Cadillac CT6 had better handling, but it was let down by a cheap looking interior while the Lincoln had a beautiful interior but was not as fun to drive. I am very pleased with my decision to purchase the G80 Sport two years in and strongly recommend Genesis to all my friends and family.

Excellent value

Very good car. Good value and very good performance. Phone is the only real problem. Nice styling and comfortable ride. Would prefer higher gas mileage. I have received many compliments on the car. Syncing with Alexa is spotty. I do not mind helping you with surveys but this to long.

OUTSTANDING Vehicle. Love my Genesis G80 Ultimate. Excellent Value, World Class Comfort, FUN Car to Drive. Been Driving the Hyundai Equus, Hyundai Genesis, and now the Genesis G80 for almost a decade. NEVER have had any issues with any of these vehicles. Satisfied Customer and Genesis Driver for Life.

Third Genesis and Best, So Far

After switching from an 8 cylinder to a 6 cylinder, I am glad to be back in a rear wheel drive 8 cylinder G80. The upgrades over the past few years have been noticeable. I look forward to seeing where the brand goes in the future. The G80 provides the perfect balance of performance and comfort. 90% of the time I am riding alone, but when I need to take the office to lunch, it is a pleasure carrying 3 additional passengers.

Great car

Great car ! A lot of people stop me thinking it was the new Bentley. Is fast and elegant. The only Cons I have are the chrome finishing in the doors. Are cheap and lost color too soon. The interior are great. Awesome comfort and great technology. It's a full optional car that has everything you can immagine

Comes equipped with many features that would be extras in many other brands Has gained recognition among it's competitors in a short time. 2018 Genesis G80 review

The G80 is extremely quiet and its performance is impressive. The audio system is great and the heads-up display adds to the vehicles safety. The G80 does have one serious problem I have noted. Most drivers will put the gear shift lever in the forward most position to put the vehicle in park. Doing this on the G80 will put the vehicle in reverse, an extremely unsafe situation. Putting the vehicle in park by pushing a button takes a lot of getting use to!

Review of Genesis G 80

Best Car on the market for the money, Better than Mercedes E 350 and the BMW 525 anda Volvo, This is my second Genesis and they are just great cars, very stylish and everyone in my family loves the car. I will continue to be a Genesis customer, before I owned 2 Hyundai vehicles, a 2008 Sonata and and 2011 Sonata and then upgraded to Genesis
