Great engineering & MPG
Ours is a 2007 Navion RV (by Winnebbago) on a 2006 Dodge/Mercedes Sprinter 3500 chassis with a 2.7L 5Cyl turbo diesel engine. Biggest complaint is finding an independent shop that will work on this 10 year old LOVE CHILD of Dodge-Mercedes-Winnebago. The turbo has an ABS plastic resonator before the turbo that should have been recalled due to defect in workmanship because everybody has had it go out where the welded seam splits. That causes the engine to go into limp mode (35 MPH max) because the OBD thinks the turbo is damaged. Once you have a good mechanic and access to the internet for weird warning lights you are good. Our RV averages 16+ MPG and hauls a lot of weight (full bath, kitchen, water, fridge, etc..) at highway speeds. Over the Rocky Mountains, through deserts, and just about anywhere you want to go. My 63 year old wife enjoys driving it too! Due to the narrow stance it sway in wind and wobbles going over small curbs at gas stations.
