MB Metris passenger van

Drives like it's on tracks on the highway. Very nimble in the city traffic. Very small turning radius for a 117' wheelbase van. Driver seat a little hard for an 83 year old body. Will buy another when I where this on out.

Solid well made vehicle. Drives like a brick with tires. Holds the road and tracks where I steer it. Could use more modern safety and convenience features but that's probably the year (2016) I understand newer models have been updated.

Love it

Metris solved our problem of wanting an RV but living in a condo with a parking height restriction. Interior completely finished out. Rear ducted ac vents. Needs more interior power points including usb.

Why more Americans aren't driving a Metris is beyond me. One of the nicest vans from here to Europe. We took out the rear seats and use it to carry our dogs, fishing gear and anything else we want and it's really a fantastic vehicle for sporty people. It makes a super passenger van as well and the cargo van style is also really nice. This van has double sliding door, a powerful turbo engine and is made well. Better than any other van on the US market.

Expensive to maintain

I was sold on the Metris because they pitched the extended service interval and cost benifit for a business. Every time this vehicle goes in. It cost over a grand. Everything breaks and the quality is not there. Some parts can only be purchased directly through Mercedes and certain repairs only they can do. Also not all Mercedes dealerships can work on these! I own 2 and have issues with both.

Metris workhorse

We own the passenger model but no different than the cargo except for interior trim. The engine is tried and true. Excellent performance in this 4 cylinder, so excellent it is now in the larger Sprinter. Mercedes-Benz knows vans and although in the US we see very little still, in Europe, it's THE van to own based on performance, longevity and maintained value. Amazon is using Mercedes for a good reason.

Originally ordered a Ford transit connect, The dealer incorrectly stated a delivery date, when time approached I inquired to find out it wasn't 8 weeks as said , but 8 months.... I researched commercial rated vans, and Metris came up, after studying the specifications, it was a no brainer! test drove and was sold. better GVW, rear wheel drive, can fit a 4X8 piece of plywood in back, the floor has "D" rings to secure your load. turbocharged 209 horsepower inline 4 cylinder. 9 speed automatic, (paddle shifters on the wheel)? great fuel economy. stylish, one of kind, I receive compliments frequently!

The MB Metris is HORRIBLE.

This MB Merris is HORRIBLE in the snow and inclement weather, It has rear wheel drive only. The Metris has voice commands that DO NOT work with your phone, voice commands only work for GPS. The seats are not only manually adjusted but they use a cumbersome dial to adjust the back and a pump system for the bottom of the seat. There is very little storage capacity in this vehicle and poor visibility with the side view mirrors. They use an awkward dial system to input GPS locations that is not very user friendly.
