Great car but expensive maintenance
This was my grandmother’s car, bought new 2006. She stopped driving it so I got it in 2016. It had 65K miles on it then. I’ve added a few over the years and it now has almost 145K. Now the fun part. What hasn’t gone wrong? The usual items over time like battery, water pumps, etc. Then the a/c went haywire. It was a 14 hours flag time job. I am not made of money so the mechanic did a work around but it’s not perfect. Then the oil leaks. And there are leaks a’plenty. It’s to the point where repairing them is going to cost 2X what the car is currently showing in KBB as trade-in value. She’s been a good car. Smooth ride, love the heated and cooled seats, memory seat position, sunroof, etc. Hate that nothing lasts forever and that everything on this car is ridiculously expensive to fix. Will miss her when she’s gone.
