Great engine, lousy electronics
I purchased this Q50 a year ago, late 2016, mostly on a whim. I had been researching the 2013 and 14 M35s, but we saw this car, my wife liked it and without any internet research, bought it from Metro in Monrovia. Mechanically it is a great car; electronically, it is marginal. The back-up camera works accurately less than half the time and usually without the back-up guidelines. When I asked the dealership about this, they said that is the way it is. They suggested I wait for the system to boot-up every time I start it, but that takes about 60 seconds. I find the speakerphone quality is excellent, both on the hearing and speaking side; Infiniti has always had that as a strength. I replaced the run flats with decent tires and it drives much better.
