Great car, small trunk

Did not realize really how small the trunk space was until my daughter had a baby and I had to put a stroller in the trunk. Nothing else can go in the trunk if the stroller is there.

This is the first car I ever bought brand new and my first Hyundai. I regret it and truly wish I went with my gut and bought a used yota. This feels like riding in a lawn mower. You can feel every grain of sand on the road. The windshield glass is absolutely the lowest quality glass I’ve ever had on a vehicle- I have never had a rock break a window on the other vehicles I drove. THREE times, a rock from the road has broken my glass. Three. The first time was within the first month I owned the car. The speaker quality is laughable- I can’t comprehend how it could be so quiet. So between how loud it is in the cabin and the silenced speaker system, and paranoia of a heavy bug shattering my windshield, not the smoothest ride I’ve ever had. If you ever need to crash overnight in the cabin, with the seats laid down there is not sufficient space for someone larger than child sized to sleep. Drives alright and it has been reliable okay, I’ll admit it. Whatever. I buy a brand new vehicle above the base model I expect better quality. That’s my honest review. Other vehicles for comparison that I’ve owned are a 1999 Honda Accord, 2001 Toyota Camry, and 2005 Subaru Outback. All great cars.

I love my Venue. It’s very cute and has been operating flawlessly. It’s a perfect for in town driving and also operates well on longer road trips. You really can’t beat the gas mileage.

So damn glitches with computer

I bought mine brand new and have had to replace the entire display/radio system, backup camera, faulty tires and multiple fuses. I have only 19000 miles

Good vehicle

Everything is perfect except for the Apple CarPlay, which disconnects frequently. It’s inconvenient and I wish I had a different car because of it.

She can give a little more

The Hyundai venue is such a fun sub-compact suv to drive. However, it can give more for the price point I purchased it at three years ago. The Hyundai Venue is very light, which I love, as I never feel like the car is dragging its feet behind me as I drive. It would be better, if the seats were more comfortable for long roadtrips or longer commutes. The FWD drive train makes it difficult to drive in difficult weather (hard rain and snow), and often makes me feel unsafe driving in difficult weather. The lane keep assist and automatic braking system is helpful when to close to other cars, but the lane keep assist can do more to anticipate what cars are next to me in blind spots I can’t see. The rear view camera could also do more by having an expanding view, and beep to let you know that cars are coming behind you or are next to you where you can’t see them. Driving the car without any music on, makes for a loud drive in silence—so more can be done to make for a quieter drive. The gas mileage is superb but I’d like to get better fuel economy on the highway, and even benefit from using E15, E85, and regular unleaded fuel. More expanding fueling options and a better highway fuel economy would make it easier to take longer road trips in the future. The FWD train going to an AWD train in the near future, with comfortable seats, and a little more room in the second row, and rear cabin, while maintaining its affordability would really make it stand out as a top competitor among sub-compact SUV options out there (KIA Soul, Toyata Corolla Cross, KIA Seltos, Honda HrV, Mazda Cx5, Nissan Kicks, Hyundai Kona, Chevy Trax, Subaru Crosstrek, and the Buick envista just to name a few). An elevated approach to elevating the current interior and exterior design of the Venue, like comfortable seats for longer road trips, full size cup holders in the back, bag holders for purses, larger trunk space for fun errands with the girls, heated seats, a heated steering wheel, an AWD train for smooth riding, a better highway fuel economy for road trips to wine country, more sexy and cool colorway options—the list goes on—including all this while MAINTAINING affordability and maintenance costs LOW, particularly on the standard trim options, would make the vehicle a stronger competitor and would be an added boon. I don’t believe in the only way to get these things are in paying ridiculous prices for vehicles. We can give costumers better quality without an added strain in their pockets—this build brand loyalty. Hyundais warranty is hard to beat, but it’s also limited for us girls who enjoy driving and want to get the most bang for our buck. I can say so much more but I’m almost at 3000 characters.

Not helpfull manufacture

my car 2 years old 23000 miles, but how many times in and out of dealership. First problem backup camera or infotaiment system that was suddenly went black, took over 3 mths to fix it. Second problem with 3rd brake lights that suddenly off, then when dealership tried to fix it, they found out it has been tampered with and tried to blame the customer, and when they finally agreed to fix it, they damaged the cover of regular brake light and dont want to take responsibility. Now on vacation day, ac suddenly off and blowing hot air, closest dealership does not have the parts available but charge me diagnostic fee anyway, even though the compressor is under warranty, and Hyundai corp dont really care, since dealership are individual franchise. So even the car still under warranty and only 2 years old but theres a alot of problem and still some out of pockets.

Best Small SUV Ever!

I absolutely love my Venue! It’s the best car I’ve ever had and I’ve had quite a few! It’s a perfect size for me. Gives me the advantages of an SUV but still small enough to feel like a car. It has all of the things I need and I love the built in navigation and the use of Apple. I stick with Hyundai! Service is great and cars are dependable!

It's a great car to move around in and to commute around town but it is a little small and the seats are uncomfortable, if you don't have window tint this car it takes forever for the air conditioning to get cool
