Great Car to drivve.

This is my 3rd Hyundai Tucson. Also had a Santa Fe previously. Great car and this one is the best.

I would like my money back

I have prescription glasses that are effecting the cruise control and active lane assist. I found out Hyundai knows of this problem and has issued a bulletin regarding this issue. I have been requesting a buyback for months now and am lead in circles. The sticker also says 37mpg and the most the technician could get on the highway was 31.7mpg. The service manager says that is fine because there is actually a fluctuation of 20 to 40% deviation only one way and that is down. I am so frustrated by this a may never own another Hyundai product as well as my whole family and anyone I speak to

nice car but electronics need work

i had the 2022 hyundai tucson and carplay (ios) worked great. however now its either constantly disconnecting or not connecting at all.

Excellent SUV, but with issues

Overall the sub is great. Good gas mileage even with 4WD drive, nice handling, comfortable on the road. The central console is excellent (though some of the core driver dials are a bit hard to read while driving). I like the fact that Apple's car app is supported. The Tuscon gives me a lot of car for the money and will be a perfect car for me on long trips or going off-road. My one gripe in the driving, the system allows me to choose my own drive mode -- which is cool. But foolishly, defaults to ecco mode when it turns on so I have to click back to my drive load each time I get in the car.

Good SUV overall - gas performance could be better

I purchased the 2026 Tucson Hybrid Limited trim after owning a 2019 Tucson (gas) Limited trim for several years. I love the styling of the Tucson, the interior is roomy and modern, it is comfortable to drive and be a passenger, and the exterior look is very sleek. I do wish that the model came in better color options instead of just 3 shades of grey, black, and white.... other versions of this vehicle or similar vehicles (Kona) come in more fun and vibrant colors... I have been considering getting the car wrapped in a color I like. I'm glad I upgraded to a new vehicle and glad I stuck with the Limited model package since it comes with ALL the bells and whistles, the biggest downside I've seen is that the "Hybrid" still uses the same amount of gas I was using in my traditional gas suv... shouldn't hybrid mean I'm using less gas and filling us less often? After 2 months of ownership, I have averaged about 360 miles on a full tank, mostly suburban driving (little highway).

Great car!

I only have 4K miles on my Tucson Hybrid but so far it has lived up to my expectations. The door handle lock is a bit finicky and I have to use the fob to lock the car about half the time. It was disappointing that there wasn't a spare tire and jack included but I was able to acquire a 3rd party tire and jack.

Sporty Spaceship

This car is beautiful in looks and build. The interior is comfortable and sleek, but completely different from the 2013 Highlander I used to drive. Having multiple drive modes, automated settings, driving assistance and protective features, I feel assisted on my daily commutes with the Hyundai Tuscon Hybrid.

Comfortable and Fun to Drive

We traded in a Honda CRV because my husband, who is 6'2", was very uncomfortable while driving. He had trouble getting in and out without banging his knee and leg on the door jamb, and the gas pedal required him to keep his knee bent at an uncomfortable angle. We never took that car on any trips longer than 30 minutes. We have two friends with Tucsons and they highly recommended we test drive one. What a difference! We liked it so much that we bought it that day and then drove it from Portland to San Jose. It was a smooth and VERY comfortable ride for both of us and our Aussie. We also love the touchscreen display, and the fact that we can each set up our own profile choices. I like the ambient sounds and my husband likes his Sirius channels. We also like the Smart Cruise Control. This is a great car for us!

So Many Features - So Little Time

So many things available for driver safety and convenience. The technology is far above my previous 18 year old ride and, frankly overwhelming; and I am a technical geek. Where I have ventured in the short period I have owned the Tucson, things are very understandable with one exception (so far). Getting CarPlay to work is confusing. I have yet to get the maps from the iPhone to appear on the Tucson screen. The GPS appears to function correctly as the software tracks the car, albeit on a gridded background instead of the map base. Advice from the Web recommends disconnecting and reconnecting the Bluetooth connection. I have not elected to try that so far as I find it easier to use the internal Nav system. Let sleeping dogs lie, so to speak. The vehicle is quite a comfortable ride and has ample leg room along with considerable rear accessible space. I have not yet had the opportunity to take the Tucson on a trip lasting more than 45 minutes and have not yet reached 1,000 miles (really, really close 962 miles), but the seat is not tiring. In my mind, no one achieves perfection (a 10 rating) unless there is no alternative. Since I have experienced no failures to date, the 10 rating is deserved.

only drawbacks are:

I have a few issues about this car. Back seat light needs a button closer to the door! I have short arms & cannot reach the center button to turn on the light in the dark. I typically leave my keyfob in my purse, so when I take a first round of items into my house I need to be able to lock my car w/o using my keyfob!!!! Not sure how “safe” it is to have the vehicle unlocked…. I do not like how the sensors see objects & vehicles that are beside my lane of travel & cause the car’s breaks to lock up. I no longer have the ability to use cruise control unless I am the only vehicle on the road. The center console really needs to have better storage options!!! My old vehicle had swivel covers to stow my small items in & the main storage box under the armrest had a tray. Not to mention the back of the console had a pull out drawer for the back passengers to stow things in. If these issues were resolved I would love my new vehicle so much more!
