Claims fully loaded with safety features which do not work when needed

The vehicle’s Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist–Reverse (PCA-R) and Surround View Monitor (SVM) failed to detect a stationary concrete pillar during a reverse parking maneuver. Despite being a Limited trim equipped with advanced sonar and 360-degree cameras, there were no audible warnings and the automaic braking did not engage, resultng in a collision. And conviently Hyundai said this is designed to work not to necessarily detect stationary objects

A pleasant surprise

Very practical and comfortable SUV with good acceleration. I traded in my BMW 430Xi for this car and I don't regret it. The BMW had better acceleration and road handling abilities but the Tucson is more comfortable, quiet, and smoother. It is also a lot more practical with significant cargo space and loads of technology. I've got the top of the line Hybrid model with the panoramic sun roof. I drove to and from NYC to Toronto recently and used the car's self-driving features which worked incredibly well maintaining a safe distance behind the leading cars and keeping in the middle of the lane at the pre-set cruise speed. All of the car's features work well and I was pleasantly surprised how well the advanced digital and remote capabilities of the car worked. I can start the car remotely and back it out of a tight garage without getting in the car. The heating and AC work well, as does the heating and cooling of the leather seats. A terrific practical SUV. Thanks!

Astounded at this vehicle

I've owned it for four months now. I've almost learned all the software. Everything is so well thought out, placed in the right place, logical. I'm averaging about 39 MPG now. I like the way it handles. And it's pretty.

Like the car but nothing is perfect

Works well so far. My two biggest complaints are relatively small but.... 1. the auto sound leveling really doesn't work very well at all. It seems to raise to the set level but never goes up or down depending in interior noise and I do have that setting selected. 2. I keep getting the "keep your eyes on the road" message even though I do. I found the system doesn't like my none UV sunglasses. I thought I had turned that off.

I am enjoying my new vehicle. Still learning some features.

The NAVIGATION System is very disappointing. It likes to send me on off-beat trails. I had to resort to using my Android phone system. The back seat beverage holders are not usable. I had to use a big Israeli bandage to support the console. I can't imagine this is how it was designed to work! photo attached. notice the downward slope.

26=026 Hyundai Hybrid

In general, this is a very nice vehicle. I particularly like the Hybrid drive and excellent gas milage. However, the Bluelink and all associated Communications features (Navigation, the Bluelink App, WiFi, etc) are Inoperative. It worked fine for 2 months, but has not worked since then. Hyundai is very slow in working on a solution. It took a month to get an initial 'Call', but the promised Tech call to coordinate service with a local dealer has not happened. Very disappointing and very impactful in losing this capability on my Car.

Great vehicle

We have a 2022 Hyundai Tuscan and this one is much better. It is quiet and the is smooth to drive. Hyundai improved both the cabin and the overall performance of the Tuscan.

Bad Decession

We are very disappointed in this car. Our old Honda CRV got better gas milage than this hybrid. The seat is very uncomfortable which creates issues when on a long trip. The cordless phone charger creates so much heat it will shut our phones off. When backing up the outside mirrors points to the ground for some reason. When my wife and I are in comfortable positions driving an alert sound that we are dozing off. Then this disconnects the cruise control and lane stability. When loading the car for vacation, it has only one clothes hook. We had to buy a pole to place across the rear seat. When in construction traffic, I was getting alerts that the battery was getting critically low. I was going slow enough the engine wasn't running and running totally from the battery. Thank God we finally got out of the construction zone to allow the engine to restart to charge the battery
