Just a few quirks

Still waiting for an update to make the small home map white instead of black. You can't see the road markings or routes on it. As a cyclist the rear safety camera needs to be disabled when I have the bike rack on the car. It doesn't always stay off. When it activates the car jerks to a whiplash like stop.

Good Vehicle, Some Minor Complaints

Overall this has been a great car so far at 8,000 miles. Fuel economy and driving comfort are standouts. There are minor complaints listed in my cons below, but overall I was surprised how much I like the car. Especially when taking price into consideration, this seems hard to beat.

Love it mostly

I love the tuscan hybrid. Quiet, rides smoothly, comfortable. Gas mileage is good, but it's still new. Lots of power. Heater controls are terrible, as are seat heater controls. Too small, way low so your eyes are off the road too long, especially if you're old and your sight isn't great.

Amazing!

Love the car, this is my fifth Hyundai. Love them. My only few items I wish for is a little better Gas Mileage, a lot times I feel the car can switch to EV but it doesnt till almost last minute, I feel a software update can fix this. I have the Limited and auto folding mirrors would be nice, some cheaper Kias have it. Speaking of Kia, would be nice to match some of the fun infotaiment updates they get, again some are cheaper than the Tucson.

Overall a very good vehicle! Advanced electronics unimpressive.

Vehicle is comfortable, roomy, quiet and responsive. Overall gas mileage is good with the around town mileage very good and the highway mileage somewhat disappointing. Advanced electronic controls and features are unimpressive; but most, but not all can be turned off. However, in my case, the Inattentive Driver Alert feature is a shameful disaster! False alarms are numerous and persistent during interstate driving to the point of being an irritating aggravating nuisance that serves as a distraction that makes my driving less safe rather than more safe. And it cannot be turned off or adjusted even by the Dealer! (Disgraceful!) On more minor notes: The Lane Keeping feature does hold lane but forces the vehicle too far to the right hand portion of the lane for my comfort. Would be great if it held more too the center, but it can't be adjusted. Also, the system requires a clear view of the driver's full face for the speed control to work!?!? (Really, why is that?) If face is partially obstructed, the speed control turns off.(Huh?) Overall however, its a very good , pleasant, well made vehicle.

Great car!

The Hyundai tucson HEV does everything well. It's roomy, quiet, comfortable, and peppy. So far it has been trouble free. I have nothing negative to say about this car, its been great.

Almost a 5 star

The car is almost perfect. Comfortable, great safety tech, good pickup with the hybrid engine, great control placements. Everything is really intuitive, enough so I try to rent one when traveling for work. A great value compared to other direct competitors. It’s not 5 stars due to poor gas mileage for a hybrid, the front cameras and radar controls are too easily blocked by weather which knocks out important safety features, the placement of the backup camera lens leaves it filthy all the time, and the driver monitor system is too sensitive so much so that I’m knocked out of cruise control when I rest my hand on the wheel at the 12 o!click position.

Can do away with that! Provide an update for it. My key fob should be enough to let the car's computer know it's me. Temperature controls should be at a higher location

My experience after one year

Watch out for "Overlooked" charges in the sales pitch

I have only ownered it for 2 months, but so far have been very pleased with it. But I was NOT pleased with being forced to take out an unnecessaery loan or be forced to pay an additional $3,000.00 That is very misleading since it was NOT mentioned in the sales pitch and mentioned only when I said that I was going to pay cash I would strongly advise anyone interested in buying a Hyundai to ask about that "overlooked" requirement for buying any car or SUV from Hyuandai if they want to pay cash.
