I'm ready to trade it in, after only 1 year

I'm truly unhappy with this vehicle. It drives well. But I have never felt so unsafe--lots of alarms go off, signifying nothing or not explained (try to use the manual? or constantly try youtube?) Electronics are inconsistent. Huge screen is nonetheless hard to read while driving-esp in fast traffic. Did Hyundai do any testing on real roads and city streets? Try to parallel park in say, NYC? Avoid a deer (or person) on a country road? I don't think so. Buy this car if you live in the burbs.

After one year

I have had my Hyundai Tucson 2025 for a little bit over a year now. These are my main dislikes: 1) 12V seems to lose charge very quickly if the car is not driven regularly. This means I cannot use the key fob to open the car, not even by touching the door handle. The battery shuts itself down and you have to use the restart battery button inside the car to activate it. The app is useless to start the car remotely when this happens also. Very annoying in cold weather if you can't drive your car every day to keep the battery from doing this. You have to walk to the car and use the physical key to open it. I found out by accident that when this happens, I can open the trunk, this activates the console briefly so I can go to the driver door and open the door touching the door handle, then I can start the car. I think this is a hack not a feature of the vehicle as it is not mentioned anywhere in the manual. Terrible! 2) It does not come with a spare tire! This was not mentioned when I was looking at the vehicle to purchase it. The car comes with a "Tire mobility kit" which is basically a fix a flat. This is not a replacement for a spare tire. The tire mobility kit does not work in all flat tire situations, like if your tire is damaged on the side wall for example. This is an expense of about $500. Very dangerous not to have a spare tire in bad weather and especially when you found out until you get a flat tire and try to use the spare. 3) The phone button on the steering wheel is very inconveniently placed, unless your hands are strictly at 10 and 2 you will keep hitting this button constantly when you don't mean to. I figure this is worse with 9 and 3 hand positions which is now the recommended way of driving. 4) The audio controls are on the right-hand side of the steering wheel. I find this extremely inconvenient as I'm right-handed and this interferes with the maneuverability of the car. Maybe this is a personal preference, but it feels awkward to try to use audio controls to move forward/back in songs and to control the volume with the right hand while driving. 5) There doesn't seem to be a way to save the preferred driving mode (Eco, Sport, Snow). So, once you turn the car off it defaults back to Eco. You have to select your driving mode EVERY TIME you start the car if you want to change it to anything other than Eco. Unacceptable in a car with this much technology. You should be able to save your preferred driving mode. 6) The notifications in the app focus on trivial things like for example, constantly telling me that the washer fluid is low unless I refill it. By constantly I mean every 5 mins literally. It also tells me if the doors are unlocked, this is good. However, if I leave my door wide open for hours the app won't bother to let me know of this! not so good, in fact pretty bad!

my new tucson hybrid limited

My 2025 tucson hybrid limited is everything I wanted. Love the heated seats and steering wheel this cold winter. It has power everything and loaded with features. The seats are so comfortable and the sound system is amazing. Handles well and it has 4 wheel drive for the winter snow. Gas mileage is less than stated but this winter has been unusually cold so we'll see what happens once it warms up.

It really is a great car and features

The Tuscon Hybrid has served me very well over the last several years. It has a comfortable ride and great features. Love the ventilated seats and the heated steering wheel.

Great experience

So far so good after 18,000 miles. Very comfortable and more spacious compared to my previous car which was a Mazda CX-5. Very smooth ride on excellent Michelin tires.

As a 4 time Hyundai owner, I was far less than satisfied with purchasing the 2035 Hyundai Tucson Limited Hybrid. Electric problems and issues caused us to trade in the 2025 Tucson within 3 weeks of the purchase.

Love my Tuson

Overall I really like my Tuson. Looks great love the hybrid aspect.Really good mileage. Very comfortable, passengers really like the heated seats( live in Minnesota). Sun roof is huge. Sound system provides excellent dound.The heads up display is great although its hard to see with polarized sunglasses on. I had a 2023 Tuson and to be honest I like some the feature button placements better on the 2023. Tey seem random in thec2025. Jury is still out on the shift lever vs buttons to engage the transmission. When I have multiple features on the info screen I still haven't figured out how to keep the map from going from light to dark during the day, frustrating. Overall its a great car. I highly recommend it.l will probably get a 3rd one when the time comes.

A wee bit annoying.

Why can’t you push the door lock button as you’re leaving the vehicle? Why do you have to touch the door handle 15 times to lock or unlock the doors. Constantly have to dig the key fob out.

Not totally satisfied

During purchasing process noticed some some hair line scratches on vehicle. Management promised to buff or repaint to remove scratches. Dropped off vehicle and a month later at pickup the scratches are still there. No resolution. Very disappointed

Overall good value car.

I'm pretty happy with the car. It runs well. The warranty has covered some issues like the lift gate malfunctioning. My only negative is that some of the automatic driving features like braking in case of a potential collision seem to be causing some issues. There are some situations where there isn't a problem, and in fact I want to add gas and move forward and the brake engages on me and can't be overridden. It has begun to worry me as a safety concern rather than a feature. This only happened recently, so perhaps it is related to a dirty sensor. Haven't had the opportunity to figure it out yet. Otherwise, it has been a great vehicle so far. The reported delay in acceleration does exist a little bit, but it is very small you learn to anticipate and manage it so it really isn't a problem. It's not much different than other cars that have to switch gears when gas is suddenly applied. Other minor gripes... sometimes I inadvertently activate the seat warmers when I put something in the lower compartment. It works and you figure it out quickly.
