2024 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid Turbo Limited

I am in love with my car. I get complements on both the outside and the inside. This is my first hybrid and I love it. I get 37 mile per gallon. It has lots of safety features which really help. The blind spot warning has kept me from having an accident 3 times.

Decent vehicle, not worth the price.

Trying to be fancy and sporty does not outway the flaws in this vehicle. The "everything" touchscreen is not only NOT productive but dangerous. Volume and anything with a up and down or channel change should be a knob in order to keep eyes on the road. Every little bump misplaces the finger and causes one to watch the screen far more than a knob or button. If in an accident, one would break their neck, as the head rest is way too far forward. Horrible design for seat posture. Gas mileage is a little better but not as much as a sales person promises. You'll need to buy new wipers immediately. Even the hyundai letters will fall off after a year. No spare tire. The trunk floor fell in with heavy groceries- very weak. The back up alarm is OBNOXIOUSLY loud- it could absolutely be quieter. The app is nice for pre starting your car. The button trunk is nice as well. I like the lane assist. All this can be found in a cheaper, probably longer lasting vehicle.

Fantastic Tucson

Great riding car with all the bells and whistles! Lane keeping and speed control provides an almost self-driving experience. Stylish and well-constructed with quality products.

Tuscon Hybrid 24-Surprisngly Pleased Overall

This is my first experience with this make of Vehicle. Glad I followed up on a suggestion from someone in the industry who suggested looking at Hyundai for its value and loaded amenities. While the make is not what I've been most accustomed to for years, I'm glad I took a chance on it, thusfar.

good mileage, comfortable.

I like this SUV. Have had very few problems with it, however, the AC stopped working a couple of weeks ago and I will have to get it fixed (they found no leaks in the system). It's just that I wouldn't expect this problem in only a few years. Everything else is fine.

Awesome vehicle!

This vehicle stood out to me when I was doing research. The amount of space is perfect, I don’t think there is really a comparable vehicle that offers the amount of cubic space as the Tucson. It is a perfect size and fits perfectly within the Hyundai lineup. I love the sportiness and pep of the hybrid and a key component as well is that it has a normal transmission. The transmission shifts perfect and in manual mode it will actually shift to a desired gear even if it doesn’t like it. I have a lot of great remarks for this vehicle, but some things that I think could be looked at are the headlights. I live in Buffalo NY and we get SNOW, and the car is absolutely a beast in the snow, but the headlights will get slush built up in the headlights and then you basically have no head lights. I have written complaints because it is a serious safety hazard. The only other thing I would point out is road noise is quite high, I’m not sure if there’s not enough sound detonating with in the doors or the seals around the windows, but road noise is quite loud, I have to have my radio at about 22 to 23 with the Bose audio system; that’s quite obnoxious. I love the fuel economy of the vehicle, except in the winter I find it to almost drop 10 mpg, I suppose that’s just the downfall of a hybrid. I do wish that the car produce around 300hp then this car would be perfect even though it has a couple of quirks. Overall very please with the vehicle!

2024 Hyundai Tuscon Hybrid Review

I love the car but have lost trust in the battery failing. Seems that if you don't use it for a week, the battery completely dies! I've had it in the shop three times for this issue in the past 9 months. Each time, the car has been in for about a week. The last time the dealership wouldn't even allow me to have a loaner.

Thank you for your feedback. If the vehicle is not driven often enough to keep the 12v battery charged, the 12v battery is only charged from the HV battery when the vehicle is running.

If the vehicle is not driven sufficiently, you may have to supplement the charging with an approved battery tender that can be plugged into the 110v wall receptacle via an extension cord to keep the battery sufficiently charged between trips. ^cc

It is an ok car

I hv now replaced two shock absorbers - yes covered under warranty … but still I hv had cars 10+ years and never had those replaced. Hope did not skimp with cheap parts elsewhere. Gas mileage was great for a couple months and settled around 30. Gets considerably less during winter (26-28) Seats are not very comfortable at all.

Recommendation: Do not buy!

The warranty is good, and you’ll need it. We’ve used the warranty 4-5 times during our couple years of ownership. The back door randomly closes when we have it opened, and it will keep closing a couple inches after hitting you/resistance. The remote start just turns off within a minute or so, which is apparently a “Feature”, despite the inside of the car still being over 100 degrees. This happens almost every time as I’m strapping my kid into their car seat, making this “feature” a potentially deadly hazard. If the trunk is open, you can forget about using the passenger door handle to unlock the car, or the key fob, which is another “feature”. Despite being the Limited edition, you have to plug in your phone to connect it to the car, as wireless CarPlay was only offered on lower end models. If you have more than one driver profile, it will regularly revert back to the current one after switching them. The driver profile solely adjusts the seat position, missing the basic mirror settings that are standard with other brands. The console also doesn’t have any buttons, so you have to take your eyes off the road to utilize the touchscreen when adjusting the volume. The beeps from going in reverse sometimes continue after placing the car in drive, with the fix being to restart the car. The collision warning system also goes off a couple times per week, wether going forward or reverse, despite NOTHING being there, so the car slams on the brakes, which is another “feature”. I hate this car.

I love my Hyundai other than if I go about 50 miles an hour at rattles in the front. Sounds horrible took it into the dealership. Their answer was. They are getting a lot of complaints on this and they don’t know what they can do for me. this is why I don’t know if I’m driving a reliable car or not. I’m concerned about taking this car too far away from home because of the noise. Everyone that gets in my car asked what in the world is that sound

Noisy and not built well.

In cold weather there is a persistent noise along the panel where the driver seat belt is. When it warms up it goes away. Super annoying.
