Nice Vehicle

We purchased two Tucson Hybrid vehicles and are happy with both. The ride is smooth and comfortable and the engine has good power and pickup. There are many accessories and functionality features that we continue to learn and test. Have taken each vehicle on a long road trip and had very comfortable and pleasurable rides.

Great gas milage - happy with it being a hybrid, but only get on average 30mpg and not the advertised 37mpg. Hate the locks on this door. Sometimes takes multiple tries just to get it unlocked. Not the car I would've picked, but my Santa Fe was over 100k miles and the transmission went, which apparently is an issue with all Hyundai's. I do like the safety features. I have been buying Hyundai's since 2012. This is the most that I have paid because you feel like you have to get all the additional warranties when purchasing because everything is electrical and no spare tire. So what I am paying for the car doesn't feel like a great value. I am just used to the Santa Fe which I like much better but wanted to try the Tuscon. Wish there was a way to adjust the sound of the reverse warning. So obnoxious. Do not like when you turn on recycle air it turns off on its own.

Good vehicle with lots of promise. misses the mark in a few areas

They is a comfortable vehicle that gets the job done but misses the mark on a few essential and important areas. I have driven in different terrains and find that the stated mileage on the sticker is consistently off by approximately 20%. The mileage is approximately 30MPG but the promise was 37-41MPG. I have done my research and I understand what type of driving and terrain increases and decreases miles per gallon. I have never carried from 28mpg (highway) to 31mpg (hilly with coasting and braking). However my biggest complaint is the user interface for the features and ent4rtainment and control. Essentially I dislike how many screens and engagement is needed to go to a task or change a station or get to the home screen or find apple play. It requires too much navigation and attention from screen to screen to be safe while driving. It feels like the engineering ignored this issue. I got rid of a 2021 Chrysler product that had much, much more sophistication and usability that this 2024 vehicle. Additionally they still dont have wireless apple pay or android! They should have looked at the competition to understand how other vehicles are being made in todays world.

Smooth and quiet

Nicest car I have owned. It is quiet and smooth, with a strong hybrid engine. The bird's eye camera is great (on the Limited edition), and the app is great for remote starting. There are many customizable features, far more than on any other car I looked at. It came with nice Michelin tires, which are getting good tread wear.

The car is display that the motor is heating. No help from dealer

The car heat display is on most of the time. The dealer doesn’t do anything to fix the issue

It's ok but a long way from delightful

The Tuscon Hybrid has some nice features but lacks some that I thought would be included on a top of the line unit. It and it also has a some maddening quirks. Windshield wiper will decide to wipe on it's on, even when sun is out and windshield is dry. It will try to self steer the vehicle even though vehicle is in it's designated lane. The outside mirrors do not track with driver seat adjustments. Driver 1 and Driver 2 still have to adjust mirrors. I think this should have been included in feature. It would be nice if vehicle rode more like a car than an off-road vehicle. Ride is very still, every bump is felt. All things considered, I would not buy a Hyundai again.

I made a good choice.

The Tucson hybrid features an attractive exterior and well appointed interior. The cabin is relatively quiet while handling is firm and secure. The push button drive and the infotainment system require some getting used to. I would recommend that a Hyundai representative sit with customers a week or two following purchase.
