Worst battery management system

Within a year the battery management system went bad. As per the dealer it is very much commin. But ni steps were taken ever. The vehicle is too light. Ride is not smooth unless there are no potholes on the road.

Satisfied with the purchase of 2024 Hybrid Tuscon

Looks good and runs well. An issue I have is with the driver's seat position. I'm 5'2" and not overweight. In order to have good visibility and reach the pedals, I have to adjust the seat to a position that makes it very difficult to into and out of the car. So I have to readjust constantly and have not found a way to save the seat settings. I'm not a fan of all of the little diamond shape embossing on the trim either, it's excessive. Superficial issue. Lastly, I may be imagining it, but it seems that I have trouble getting the car into hybrid mode when the weather is colder. I drive mostly local/city type driving and the mileage seems much better in warm weather.

Love, love this vehicle!

Absolutely a perfect SUV for me. I would change nothing. It’s a hybrid, meaning no special charging……gets great gas mileage…..comfortable and easy to drive. The interior amenities are placed in perfect places. The Bose radio sounds awesome.

Love, But Concerned with Quality and Safety

I bought this car in July of 2024. A month later, unfortunately, I heard a crack while using my horn and noticed a indent across the center of the steering wheel where it indicates the airbag is located. I brought it into my service provider who told me it was not a warrantable concern and if I wanted it fixed I would need to pay some outside individual to fix it (likely voiding any warranty or claims for this). I did not agree with this determination and reached out to Hyundai Customer Service. After several back and forths they stated that they could not guarantee this issue would not impact the deployment of my airbag, however, it was not warrantable and I should probably pay out-of-pocket for this to be fixed to be sure my airbag would work properly. They stated it was not covered under the section of misuse, abuse, and accident (which none of these cover what occurred in the slightest unless the definition of "accident" is made very vague and defined outside of normal standards). I am thus very concerned not only for the over quality of my car if just the typical, expected use of a part could result in breakage and potentially dangerous scenarios, but also I am very concerned my car is not safe as per Federal standards and that there is the chance that my airbag will not deploy in the event of an ACTUAL accident. Additionally, my battery appears to disconnect much more frequently than I was originally told would occur. I understand it doing so after long periods of nonuse, such as a month, but it has frequently occurred with less than a week of nonuse.

Great car

This is a very good, very reliable, comfortable and economical car. It has two shortcomings: the EPA combined MPG is 37, but my combined MPG falls about 10% below that figure, even though I drive in the ECO mode all the time. When driving in town at slower speeds where the car is in EV mode frequently I get great mileage often 40-50 MPG. But highway driving runs at 30-32 MPG even though I usually drive a few mph below the limit. Second problem is Hyundai, for mysterious reasons, did not include wireless CarPlay, a feature I love in my wife's 2022 Tucson. This oversight, apparently only in the 2024 model, is extremely annoying.
