Overall a great experience. car is fun to drive, balanced and handles well in all weather conditions. just recently however, whenever I go over 45-50 mph the whole car develops a significant shake. almost as if the car becomes a shake weight. I don’t know the reason y.

New Sonata 2025

Love my new Sonata...I have taken a fre long trips so far...39 mpg both times. Quiet smooth ride. Love all the new safety features as well as the Blue Link lock and start features! Lits ofvtrunk space.

WARNING SYSTEM PROBLEM

My back up warning signal has quit working. My car only has 7000 miles on it. Service advisor told me some signals only pick up people, some only pickup vehicles. that is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. It worked fine for the first 7000 miles than just stopped working.

Known issues with Paint chips

Had paint chipping on hood and driver's side door...a known issue but service said it was not covered and CHARGED me for a paint touch-up pen!

It’s almost perfect.

So far I love the car. 4K miles in. My biggest concerns with it THE RATTLING. ITS DRIVING ME CRAZY. I’m not concerned about hard or soft plastics and this and that. I just want to buy a new car that doesn’t rattle. Both front door panels rattle when music is playing. The divider on the zoo roof rattles while driving and something in the back on the trunk rattles. Otherwise cars amazing. It’s quick, I love the screens, looks good. With the exception of my screen blacking out and not resetting for a while no matter what I did, it’s been no issues. Love it.

Happy, but, not happy!!!

Even though it's a sonata SEL just like my previous car it doesn't seem to ride or be as hefty as my 2023 sonata. I don't like the center console the console compartment was moved back and made smaller, it's harder to reach, also don't like the small accessory touch screen. It distracts you from driving if you want to change any other settings. It was my fault for not noticing the vehicle misgivings I was just so happy to get the great lease deal.

Computer electrical and control.... hmmm

Nice car, too much tech, too much battery pull if it sits idle, I was advised to run it every 3-4 days as the computer drains the battery with out being used. Like the handling, fuel economy and power when needed.

Is it better than the 2020-2023?

Excellent value in a limited field of (nearly) full size cars. The curvy body lines are the same as 2020-23, but the front and rear treatment looks mismatched, like square pegs in round holes (not a fan of the LEGO look). Also not a fan of the higher option wheels. I don't like the digital gauges with no scale to the dial and switched sides of the tachometer and speedometer.
