Vehicle has design flaw

I bought this vehicle new. When I first started driving it, I knew this car was the one for me. The drive was smooth, the ambient light was sleek, and the design fit my preferences. Unfortunately shortly after, I started noticing the cracks in the foundation. This vehicle has a persistent electrical issue that causes it to constantly die. I had to find a hack to jump start it because it happened so often. Even after bringing the vehicle to get serviced multiple times, even after the recall, the issue was never fixed. This vehicle has all the bells and whistles, but the electrical issue makes it unreliable.

Excellent car, great mileage, only electrical quirks

Overall I never had any issues, drives great, very reliable, excellent mileage. The only issue is experienced was the check engine light. Came on for a couple days, went away for a while, came back for longer than a few days. Which upon diagnosis, nothing was wrong, they said some electrical diagnostic error. Fine. No problems. Two days later it came on again, then after 2 days, went away and hasnt come back. Car still runs fine but concerning. Only other issue is the scratch pad on the front bottom. Its plastic, and its not secured tight. Pops off easily. Pops in easily. Cheap. Maybe its so it can be replaced easily? But why make something you have to replace? Not sure, but i dont see other sedans with plastic pop off scratch plates.

My Brand New 2025 Sonata SEL Hybrid

I’ve had my Sonata for about two months now, and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it! The modern technology is fantastic. I love using Apple CarPlay and being able to use my phone or watch to open the car doors and even drive without a physical key. This car model is great, and I wish I had opted for the Limited trim to get the blind spot cameras, Bose sound system, ventilated seats, panoramic sunroof, and 360-degree parking camera system. Maybe I’ll consider it in the future. The only thing I’m not used to is the break sensitivity. Sometimes, when I break, it doesn’t feel as smooth as it could be. It’s like there’s a slight jerk when I come to a full stop. It could be the brakes transitioning from regenerative brakes to regular pads. It feels sudden and disorienting, but it doesn’t make me feel less confident so it maybe be something to get used to. Overall, I’m having a great time with my new Sonata and I love everything about it, including the gas mileage that it gives me! I’ll hope to keep this car for many years to come!

The car itself is okay. It gets good gas mileage. I am disappointed that it doesn’t have more standard features.

Elegant design, quality build, fun to drive

Everything about the Sonata is great. The look, the design, the quality, attention to detail are all top-notch. I particularly like the electronic package with advanced features. The suer interface is well-designed, making it easy to operate. The fact that it comes with a 10 year/100,000 mile power train warranty and 5 year/60,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty helps protect my not inconsiderable investment.
