Worst blind spots ever

I like almost everything about my Santa Fe except the lack of visibility out of the four corners of the car. The back corners are more blocked than I’ve ever seen, and even the front corners are too thick. I can be stopped at a T intersection to take a left turn, look both ways and see no traffic, then look back to the right and see a car almost in front of me that had been blocked from my initial view by the right front pillar. Backing up in this car drives me crazy. Why has the auto industry made progress in every other area than VISIBILITY? Also, having to look at the screen to pick a new radio station distracts too much from the road.

Love my Santa Fe Sport!

I traded in my Tucson for this Santa Fe Sport. The Santa Fe is a little bigger and has all the bells and whistles. Handles very nicely, have taken it on several long trips with never any problems. Gas mileage is pretty good too for an SUV and it's comfortable on a long trip.

Santa Fe Sport Ultimate 2.0T w/ Tech

2017 Santa Fe Sport Ultimate 2.0T w/Tech w/, 19" wheels - 21K miles. Vehicle performs extremely well, handles well, - no CONS at this point. I have some reservations about GDI engines in general, but does not seem to be a problem so far. Using highest octane fuel and low volatility oil is something I would suggest. Also have either CRC of Seafoam used every 10-15K miles through the intake is something I would suggest because of the GDI-type engine. But over all the vehicle is great. Best things: GREAT HANDS-FREE PHONE AND VOICE COMMANDS...WORKS FLAWLESSLY - BLUELINK WORKS GREAT FOR ENGINE START ETC...LOVE IT -- GREAT INFINITY SOUND --- GREAT SEATS (FOR ME) …… ALL OF THE TECH STUFF WORKS AS IT IS SUPPOSED TO WORK......

Too much faulty technology

I have had my new Santa Fe Sport into the shop 5 times now since I bought it - all for computer issues. Makes me question the safety of the vehicle. I don't need all the whistles and bells, I need a car that works like it is supposed to. I don't want to be tied down by computer glicks.

Extremely happy with our 2017 Santa Fe Sport purchase.

We have approximately 22,000 miles on our vehicle. The legroom for me is one of the top reasons I love this vehicle. My right leg would always feel cramped. This cramping was with other vehicles that we owned previously and those we test drove before deciding on the Santa Fe Sport. On short rides none of our vehicles really posed a problem with the cramping, as this only took occurred on our long trips with me. I had two hips replaced and not having these cramps made such a difference! We have not had any issues with our vehicle and the MPG that we get is slightly above what was on the sticker. Definitely one of the best vehicles we have owned. We have purchased about 7 new vehicles over the years and so far this definitely is the best for our needs.

Love this car. My sister and niece also have a Santa Fe and like it Next time I’d like the remote open tailgate

This is a super car. Very happy with it. The mirrors are a bit large and frequently present a blind spot. Other than that this a great car Love the heated steering wheel. We go north and it’s chilly in October

Nice vehicle

I bought my Sante Fe Sport after a frustrating day looking at another make of SUV. I just wasn't comfortable with the other make on a test drive. It felt huge, and I was terrified to drive it. The Santa Fe Sport was like it was made for me, the minute i sat in it I was totally comfortable. Funny thing, i found out after I bought it - it is BIGGER than the other model i wasn't comfortable in!

Excellent vehicle for the money!

You get the best bang for your buck with any Hyundai. This is my second Hyundai Santa Fe and both were very well put together with smartly located controls and extra conveniences (like the pop-up pocket on the dash - great place for a few essentials.)

Test drove numerous vehicles before settling on the santa fe sport. Had viewed at auto show and was impressed. The turbo has lots of pep for a 4 cylinder. Comfortable to travel in. Could have a bit better fuel economy.

It needs to be built better!

There is a rattling noise on the left passenger and driver doors. I do not know where this noise is coming from? I had brought the car back to to Knauz Hyundai in Lake Forest Illinois where I purchased this car. They were unable to detect the problem. I did not mention this problem to Tamiami Hyundai thinking that they will not be able to help and I may end up spending my whole day at the service. The ride is not solid, feels like there are loose parts in the car. The gas mileage is poor especially in city driving, I barely get 18 to 19 miles per gallon. Car makes a lot of noise on sudden acceleration.

Marly, my Santa Fe, is awesome!

I have owned my 2017 Marlin Blue Santa Fe Sport for 2.5 years. She is turbo charged, fun to drive, safe and overall great car!! Even after 30,000 miles, she drives like a new car! My Santa Fe is AWD, making it great in snow or rain, it is roomy and comfortable. The technology is practical, easy and fun to use--makes for great hands-free driving! Marly will be going to my daughter in a couple of years and I will be back to get another Santa Fe!

Excellent vehicle

Great car to drive with a really good warranty, if I were to replace this car it would definitely be another Santa Fe, my previous car was a 2000 Ford Taurus with 125000 miles on. More than happy with this car

it's noisy inside the cabin when driving on the freeway. the insulation, reducing the outside noise, is minimal. rear air/heat is minimal. backup camera doesn't always work. however, good value for the money

Santa Fe sport.

I do not like this SUV nearly as well as I did my 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe. My 2010 was a good bit larger and set up higher. The sport is just not what I thought it would be. If I could afford to trade again I would get another larger one with a v6. I loved my 2010.

Our Santa Fe Sport has provided excellent service to our family. I have never had any failures with my vehicle in the three years I have owned it. I always bring it in for service at Napleton Valley Hyundai as they provide friendly and professional service. The waiting room is very clean and is well stocked with refreshments. I know that my vehicle will be taken care of properly at the Napleton Valley Hyundai.

2017 Santa Fe - Sporty SUV and more

I leased my 2017 Santa Fe Sport AWD in November 2016. Previously, I had only driven a few other SUVs for rentals (Ford Escape, Nissan Rogue, Dodge Journey and Kia Sportage). After extensive review, I chose the Hyundai Santa Fe Sport for the vehicle I would purchase/lease. I arranged a test drive and was pleased with the ride comfort, interior layout and quality, and overall size and feel of this vehicle. My only negative comments are 1) poor acceleration from a standing start and 2) lower fuel consumption efficiency than advertised. I usually achieve about 21 to 22 mpg in city/local driving conditions. Overall I am very satisfied with this vehicle and I am considering purchasing a newer 2018 model. I do not care for the new 2019 Santa Fe appearance and size.

So far so good.

We have only had our Santa Fe Sport for about four months and 3900 miles. So far it's been a great little car. We are impressed with the amount of whistles and bells they packed into this vehicle for the price. I am 6'1" and find it surprisingly comfortable. Especially after driving my 1 ton Diesel pick up for a couple years. Gas mileage is good, and it is adequately peppy in the Sport mode. Averaging about 26 mpg. If I had it to do over again, I would still purchase this vehicle.
