Great overall, but holding back on a few key details

Overall, it is a fantastic car, but a few specific issues keep it from being truly great. There are too many redundant buttons duplicated across the center stack, steering wheel, and deep menu settings that feel unnecessary, while frequently used features cannot be customized or mapped properly—most notably, you cannot adjust the navigation map zoom directly from the steering wheel. Additionally, the doors feel too light and lack a solid heft. Finally, under harder acceleration, the engine revs loudly and makes a lot of noise that does not match the actual power or speed delivered. Pros: Great comfort, modern tech, excellent cabin space, and stylish design. Cons: Redundant controls, lack of shortcut customization (like steering wheel map zoom), lightweight doors, loud engine revving under hard acceleration.

Liking Our New Red Santa Fe Calligraphy

This car does so many things well, it's hard to single any one thing above another. It is quiet, almost too quiet... can't always tell when it's running when I'm sitting in parking lot or garage. The ride is smooth with the big wheels and the stock Pirelli Scorpion Tires. The gas mileage is amazing... getting close to 600 miles on a full tank of gas over the highway. Like having the different drive modes and all-wheel drive to up and down some steep gravel roads to lake house.

Overall a good vehicle. Lots of safety features and options to personalize for my liking. My biggest dislike is the phone connection to bluetooth ...the service is slow and never listens to what I am telling it to do.

Overall, a quality car with lots to like. A few glitches.

Comfortable ride with a dizzying display of buttons. I wish the leg extension would go up to a horizontal position with the seat. Like the Volvo. Also, when the weather turned cooler I had to fill one of the tires with air.

White paint needs help but love the vehicle

Vehicle is fantastic love everything about it only had two issues paint easily chips and the Bluetooth connection gets confused when you have the Santa Fe key and the connection to AirPlay have to reset Bluetooth to clear the issue

Great vehicle and features but some imperfections

I purchased my vehicle when it was already dark outside, therefore, I didn't notice the imperfections until a day or two later. On the body of the car there are paint smudges, and I have a fish eye on the rear trunk area from factory paint. I also have a few white spot areas on my enfortainment area where it looks like paint/color is chipped off. Additionally, my passenger headrest has either factory glue or a tear on it that's very visible. The Hyundai Las Vegas service department has not been very diligent with trying to schedule an appointment for me, or arranging a loaner vehicle. I work relatively far from work and need a vehicle to go to and from work while my new car can get the service it needs to fix these issues. The sales guy I purchased from has been awesome with his communication and trying to get this service coordinated for me, but ultimately it's not his job to do so, and it still has not happened through the service department. I love my new car and all the wonderful features it has and the smooth drive for my family. It was a major upgrade from my Hyundai Tuscon. I would just really like for this to be taken care of as it is going on three months.

Great Car So Far

We have had this car for three months now, and it has been a great car. Six of us drove to Yellowstone National Park last month and spent a lot of time in the car. It was fun to drive. It was a bit difficult for adults to get in and out of the back seat, and there is no AC back there. If I had it to do over I would get AC all the way to the back. I didn't know we were not getting that. I love the following feature, and it worked well both on the freeway and in start and stop traffic in the Park. It is a great car, but I would probably get a few additional features if I had it to do over.

Major Android auto problem

The connection worked fine for the first 2 months. Then it kept randomly disconnecting. I went to two different dealers to deal with this and nobody could help. I also got the feeling like nobody cared. Also, am disappointed that you cannot automatically set the lumbar massage to work.
