Failing features. Can't wear sunglasses . Hear is a killer of your

My car starts by itself in the garage very dangerous because it's a hybrid.You have a faulty ignition button to start the car.So when you shut the car, it doesn't go off.You can't tell it, goes into a c.C or blue screen and later on, you'll come out in the car is running in your garage, very dangerous.Somebody's going to be aphyxiated, cannot wear sunglasses because it causes your cruise control. Shut off my car keeps up in. I get stuck all over the place. It still has the ghost of putting the seat belts on. Otherwise the car won't move, which was taken off in twenty two need.I go on when it's hot out.Your computers go, hey, wire.Sometimes it doesn't even know I have the trailer on the back. Very dangerous vehicle

Love my car

I went from a Lincoln Corsair to the Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid. I love everything about it the Santa Fe. It has everything you need and then some.

Great car, but get rid of the "Take a Break" warning.

Tires wore out after 17K miles. The warning to take a break appears very frequently for one driver, sometimes as often as 5 minutes apart. Other driver hardly ever sees it. The headlights should be a more conventional design, I believe the "H" shape reduces some of their effectiveness at night. Other than these issues the car has behaved normally.

Great vehicle choice

A very practical car. Good value for the money. Lots of room, very comfortable, quiet. Good gas mileage given the size of the vehicle. Electronics after a few hours of getting use to them are easy to operate and friendly.

I love the car but you have a factory defect that must be fixed. The covers for the locks on the roof racks do not attach securely. I have lost three of them because they simply fall off. Please send me three covers at no charge. Thank you.

Love it even more than I thought I would!

This SUV has ALL the bells and whistles I wanted for $15-20k less than the competitors. Air-conditioned seats, mirrors that fold automatically, amazing infotainment set up, safety features, comfort, space, and a smoooooth ride. When I drive my husband's vehicle that I once thought was super nice, it feels hard and rickety in comparison. I look forward to road trips for the ease and comfort! I think I'm a Hyundai convert for life now.

Love everything besides the red light camera warning

After nearly 20 years of Honda Pilots I was ready for a change. I thoroughly researched and visited the LA car show to narrow my search. I am thoroughly happy with my Santa Fe. I get an average of 32 mpg which is so wonderful with the high price of gas. An all electric wasn’t practical for our family and my driving needs, but I knew I wasn’t buying another all gas engine. Hybrid was a perfect compromise. It is a tiny bit lagging when entering the freeway, but I can manage it. It is comfortable and I appreciate all the climate control features. I never knew I needed cooling seats, but I love them. One of my biggest complaints with my Honda was the lack of buttons on the audio/navigation system. An entirely touchscreen would have been a deal breaker for me. I appreciate being able to reach over and adjust without looking away from the road. My only complaint is the red light camera warning feature. I live in an area with MANY red light cameras. I don’t need the warning and I haven’t been able to shut it off. It interrupts my audio and is just plain annoying. If this was changed to an optional feature this car would be perfect. I have already raved about my car and given rides to one friend who just bought a new Hyundai. Please update the software for me.

Lots of great features, efficient, but some features can be annoying

I love the fuel efficiency, comfortable ride, display and styling. Some safety features are annoying and incorrect.

Never Buying This Again — Too Many Failures in Year One

I bought this Santa Fe Hybrid expecting a reliable family SUV, and one year and 5,000 miles later it has spent close to 30 days total sitting at the dealership instead of in my driveway. The steering column had to be replaced, the 12V battery has died completely twice requiring a jump, and the Driver Attention Warning safety system has failed twice — which matters because when it malfunctions it can disable adaptive cruise control and trigger unexpected braking. That's five repair visits for three unrelated failures in the first year, on a car that's supposed to be new and under warranty. What concerns me most isn't any single defect but the pattern — a steering component, an electrical system, and a driver safety system all failing independently in year one suggests this isn't bad luck with one part, it's a car that hasn't proven it can go a few months without needing dealer intervention. When it works, it drives well and gets great mileage, but "when it works" isn't good enough for a brand-new vehicle. I can't recommend this car until Hyundai demonstrates these issues are actually fixed rather than temporarily patched.

2025 Santa Fe review

The main two issues are as follows: - No spare tire is provided. This is a huge safety issue since the cheap air compressor and the puncture repair spray can will be useless if the tire can’t be repaired on site and you are outside cell phone coverage, you will be exposed to criminal elements and adverse weather danger. - the cranking battery on my Santa Fe left me stranded at least 4 times due to the unit being totally discharged. The Hyundai service department told me the battery was being discharged by the tracking low jack device/s installed by the dealer, the tracking devices were removed, but I still get low battery warnings. Internet searches indicate that battery issues is a well known problem to Hyundai but they refuse to fix the problem, which is due to installing inexpensive/inadequte batteries on the Santa Fe models.

Seating for six?

There are many things I love about the 2025 Santa Fe Calligraphy; HOWEVER, one of them is not the "seating for six." I tried to take six adults to a Milwaukee Brewer game; the two small women sitting in the back two seats struggled getting in and it was beyond a struggle for them to exit the vehicle! I felt bad for offering to drive. ALSO with those two rear seats up there was no room for coolers and chairs for a tailgate at the ball park. Previous to the 2025 Santa Fe, I had a 2020 Santa Fe. It seated five comfortably AND had plenty of storage room. I also miss the storage room "under the floor."
