Great looking car

This is my 3rd santa fe so i am a loyal customer! My 2025 santa fe hybrid is a great looking car and drives well but there are a couple tech issues I wish hyundai would fix. One, you can't engage cruise control if you are wearing sunglasses. The safety cameras won't engage the cruise control if it can't see your pupils. You can not change this setting. So if it's a sunny day on highway forget cruise control. Two, I have had to reset my android phone connection after my husband uses my car with his android phone. Even after using the the fingerprint login. Sometimes i have to hard wire in because the car wont pick up my phone on wifi. Three, the radio doesn't display the song titles and won't display if you have the map displayed. All of these things are minor inconveniences but on a new 2025 you expect better. It makes me nervous when I'm experiencing these issues so early. The car drives well and I appreciate all the safety features like cameras and parking assist.

Damages in Shipping

I love my new car. The bluelink didn't work. I called the toll free number. Spent about an hour on the line with an agent to get it connected. Waited for a deeper research to happen. Got an email about a week or so later saying if it wasn't fixed to see the dealership to get it corrected. Called and got sent to voicemail with no response to date. We also discovered about a month into ownership that the heater/ A/C did not blow on the drivers side. Found out that a rodent chewed wires and pooped in my car. Car was at dealership for almost a month. Was promised my car would be detailed after and washed. It was very dirty on the outside and finger prints all over the dash and windshield.

Too soon to tell; only had it for 3 weeks

Like the vehicle overall, but don't like there is no spare tire and Hyundai doesn't even make one for after market purchase to throw in the back. Also the Dealer (Fitzgerald) and Hyundai forced me to purchase worthless extras. For example, they sold me a set of cargo blocks that are useless because Hyundai installed a cheap plastic "Cargo tray, up seatback" over the rear cargo area. The cargo blocks use Velcro to attach to the carpet in the rear cargo area. As the plastic covers the entire area, the blocks cannot attach and are an incredible waste of money. Also, I had to buy a cargo net that will sit in my shop with 3 others that are never used (from previous vehicles). And the first aid kit is also junk. Instead ot the above listed junk, the consumer would have been better served if it came with wheel locks or a better grade of cargo protection instead of the cheap plastic one that cost $120

Very comfortable vehicle, spacious with lots of safety features

The 2025 Santa Fe is a large SUV that drives very nicely. The vehicle is comfortable for drivers and passengers. I really like the large infotainment screen and am still learning all the features. Thank goodness for the online videos that guide you through various features. The cargo space is very large when you fold down the third row seats. I have the hybrid version which gets good gas mileage around the city. The safety features were why I chose this vehicle. They are impressive.

Far exceeding expectations!!

Loyal Toyota buyers for many years. In the last 5 years their prices have gotten out of control. Purchased a Santa Fe hybrid instead of another Highlander hybrid like I owned. The difference in price was $8,000 between the two. I have been amazed at the 2025 Santa Fe hybrid I purchased. Super comfortable, ride is smooth and even, 35MPG, handles great, very quiet. I’m shocked at how great of a ride it is. Lots of options for an SEL. Wonderful car equL to the Highlander for $8,000 less. Tough to pass up. Would buy another when it’s time

Please change some features

1. Allow locking of all doors when exiting an off vehicle from the door panel 2. Inside smell not like american cars. Kind of offensive. 3. Drivers (and passenger) seat belt female portion, needs to be raised. When seat is HIGH very difficult to lock 4. Allow changing home screen color. I want white not black. Can' read black. 5. More center screen options. 3 is not enough.

It's okay, not great, not awful. I guess I got what I paid for...

It's fine, the interior is decent enough, there's actually enough room for my family of 3 and the two giant dogs, although I had to go with the mid level trim because I needed the brown interior and a bench seat to keep said giant dogs in the back. I would have liked the black wheels and grille but that means either a white or black interior, which doesn't work for mastiffs. Some more minor annoyances, the cruise control will NOT work with sunglasses. Self driving I could maybe understand but seriously CRUISE CONTROL? I live in Colorado, I need sunglasses, this is my biggest gripe, honestly. The rear gate opening when you approach is too sensitive and can't be canceled easily, nor will the button inside work to close it, you have to walk around to the back to push the button. Furthermore the fuel economy is NOT EVEN CLOSE to what is claimed. I'm supposed to get 35 highway, the best I've ever gotten is 27-28, and on long trips on the interstate that number is closer to 20-21, not that I truly expected 35 from a literal brick but getting something close would have been nice. The Bose stereo is a bit anemic, it sounds okay there's just a lack of bass and it doesn't really get loud, sometimes you just want to cruise down a gravel road with the windows down, sunroof open, and music blaring, and it just refuses to cooperate. While all these don't make me love the car, I guess with every other vehicle in this class being 10-20k more, I should be happy with what I got. I just crossed 7500 miles, I guess time will tell...
