Enjoyable and pleasant fun ride

For a mid range truck it rides and handle great , could use more towing capabilities, but priced right for my budget. The bed could use more tie downs or placed in more easy excess for straps. I'm pleased with my Santa Cruz.

I purchased my Santa Cruz, paid in full, if this is what your asking.

Quite, maneuverability easy. I need to adjust my driving habits, due to years of driving my Ford 150. Fuel is good. Easy access for my Mom and she feels safe and loves it. I truly love the bed, but wish I had more back room space for others. The 2025 doesn't have the get up and go like the 2021, and 2022, but it's still, a smooth ride. Love the Style.

SUV Ride and comfort with a bed.

I narrowed my new vehicle choices to a Ford Maverick and the Santa Cruz. After test driving both vehicles the choice was quite obvious. There was nothing about the Maverick that the Santa Cruz wasn’t better at. From stylish, comfort, driving, bells and whistles, it wasn’t even close.

A little under powered on accelerating on the highway

Driver side window

I want to 100% love my vehicle because I do love the truck however I bought the truck cash no finance because I needed something I didn't have to service within one month my driver side window broken and it's hard to get replaced due to a drive for a living

The perfect vehicle for everyday drivers, and great for adventures.

My Santa Cruz handles like a sports car, and is extremely comfortable on long drives. The heated seats are a welcome bonus. I really appreciate how sleek and stylish the phantom black paint looks. Definitely an eye catcher.

Unreliable vehicle

Within two weeks of owning this car I had to replace the driver aide headlight, the trim on the driver side front fender, the lift gate spontaneously came off the hinges, and I believe the distracted driver warning system turning off the adaptive cruise control is very dangerous as it takes away a layer of defense agains an accident.

Our overall experience has been very positive, but we do have minor issues. *Fingerprint recognition doesn’t work well. *Keyless entry is hit and miss. *we have a recall for a wiring problem around the shifter

Best Bang For Your Buck!

The Hyundai Santa Cruz fills a need for small pickup trucks at a reasonable price with many standard items of convenience. It provides a bed size which satisfies the needs of most people without having to have a large truck that gets low mpg.

Brake pedal / booster is extremely noisy and no one will fix it

Bought truck new. Brake booster/pedal is very squeaky and feels wrong. Taken it in 6 times and was told to drive it 5,000+ miles to break it in. No one will fix it. Complained to customer care as well. I'm very OCD and I hate my vehicle for it. I don't even like looking at it. Considering trading it in only after 4 months of ownership.

Runs and looks good. Engine noisey, Engine and cab could be quieter.

Not a bad vehicle. Like all the awesome safety features. Engine and cab could be a lot quieter. Tanneau cover leaks, and cargo gets wet. the dashboard and screen really collect dust and hard to stay/keep clean.

NOT in Love With This Santa Cruz; Disappointed

The truck bed gets REALLY wet when it rains because Tonneau cover needs a better seal. Took vehicle to Allen Turner Hyundai to check seal on tonneau cover; cruise control concerns; forward protection not working when I get too close to other vehicles; Santa Cruz sometimes telling me to connect to Bluetooth and my phone shows Bluetooth is connected to Santa Cruz but SC won't open up. I was very DISAPPOINTED with the service I received at that Hyundai dealer. Initially, it took a while before anyone came to assist me. When the person came out to help me, he never introduced himself. It felt like I was a bother to be there. When I started telling him why I was there, he commented that I had a "laundry list". Before I walked in the building, I commented about him not introducing himself and noted his name tag said Justin. He seemed aggravated that I said I would wait instead of taking the shuttle to my home as I had initially signed up for over the phone. Once again, it felt like I was a bother based on his negative response. Justin said it could take a couple of days to check all of the things I went there for and I told him I was spend the day there. In what I thought was a short time, Justin returned and told me all of my concerns were invalid because they checked the SC and everything was operating as normal. It was also noted on my paperwork that this SC did not have the forward accident protection (can't think of correct name at the moment). When I questioned Justin about the notes, he suggested I go back to the dealer I bought the SC from and have them look at it. I was in disbelief. I HONESTLY DON'T THINK MY SC WAS REALLY CHECKED OUT. I later received a call from someone at Allen Turner Hyundai asking about my experience and I shared all of my DISAPPOINTMENTS with her (don't remember her name). She said she would share my concerns with the manager and have him call me. Of course, I have not heard from anyone else since then. Some of the safety features I thought I had and was the reason I purchased this SC, doesn't seem to be available. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

Vehicle is alright but lacks the punch you would expect from a turbo. The lack of buttons makes everything require touch on the screen that leaves oily skin residue all over it and a constant cleaning

Drove it 4000 miles and now they don't know what's wrong with it.

I bought my 2025 Santa Cruz in January 2025. In March in was making a strange vibration so I took it in. They've had it 3 weeks. No one knows what it wrong or how to fix it. So it just sits there. No one calls me, so I just keep extending the rent car they say they will reimburse me for once the design engineers figure out what is wrong. Warranty Customer Service transferred me to another department that is over the buy-back program, but after waiting 4 days to hear from them, warranty called me back to say they pushed me back over to them. Warranty has now kicked me back over again, "escalated", whatever that means. Not sure how to feel. I haven't been treated badly really, but feel like I could be treated better certainly.

Not a cold weather vehicle

Vehicle is constantly displaying dash amber warning lights at temperatures below 30 degrees. Tailgate freezes shut making the bed useless as it is a TRX with locking tonneau cover. Ice forms around gas cap inside the gas door. In warm weather I have had no issues, below freezing all of the electronic safety features and the security and convenience of the bed area are wasted.
