Great car but needs some changes

You need to move the handle that is now above the right passenger seat to the windshield area to be more helpful. The way it is positioned is of no help getting into the car if your handicapped. Hate the way you have to push the button every time you start the engine to prevent the car from going into idle mode when at a stop light. This stops the AC and heat. In the south we need the AC especially when stopped for traffic.

Overall, a great vehicle and mostly worth the cost

I have owned this car for 18 months now and overall have been very happy with it. The comfort on long road trips is exceptional and most of the features are very appropriate and convenient. The space of the interior is good and the flexibility of seats up or down is an important feature. My biggest disappointment is with the front grill on the exterior - the design is horrible and it has SO MANY rock chips and marks in it. No matter what you do, they keep coming. I guess the positive I have way less rock chips in the hood of the car, but eventually the grill won't even appear black and I will have to get it repainted. Also, I have found the warranty and included service to be lacking at the dealership. They nickel and dime me constantly when I do have service and the last visit they suggested $900 of "add on" items! Crazy. I did NOT have such problems with my previous Hyundai car (nor with the Honda Pilot that this SUV replaced). That is very disappointing and will make me reconsider the Hyundai brand when it comes time to replace this vehicle.

Wonderful Experience at Alexander Hyundai of Oxnard!

I recently purchased my beautiful 2025 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy from Alexander Hyundai of Oxnard, and I wanted to take a moment to recognize the people who helped make my experience a positive one! A big thank-you to Robert Grimes (Sales Manager), Ed Mallory (Finance Manager) & Jeremias Rivera (Sales Consultant) for their help throughout the purchasing process. I especially want to give a HUGE shout-out to Katie Kemp, the General Manager, who truly went above and beyond! Katie was absolutely wonderful. Her professionalism, kindness, and genuine commitment to customer satisfaction really stood out. She took the time to listen, personally stepped in when I needed additional assistance, and ultimately made sure everything was taken care of. That kind of dedication and follow-through made all the difference! Palisade is a solid vehicle

After moving from a BMW X5 to a Hyundai Palisade I wasn’t initially sure what to expect. What I found was a well designed, well built mid size SUV. It it well designed with attention to every detail.

18 month review

After 18 months I have two major problems and two minor. 1st main issue is there is no way to turn off the time zone feature on the entertainment system. I live in the eastern time zone and the dealership is in central. Howerver, if I go east towards the next town the time jumps forward one hour. Even though I am in the same time zone. It is very confusing for my wife. She adjust the clock to the correct time and when we go home she has to readjust the clock. I have asked at the dealership and they have tried to adjust the entertainment system to no avail. 2nd main issue is I bought Goodyear window vents for the car and I have had nothing but problems. The two rear window do not stay in place, and the front passenger window vent has slipped and does not allow the window to close completely. Looking on blogs, I see this is a common problem with the Palisade. I have installed window vents on many cars and never have I had this problem. The first minor issue is that about 30 percent of the time that I start the car the steering wheel jumps. I was wondering if there could be a valve in that allows the power steering system to bleed down. The second minor problem is the seat on the drivers side does not lower when it retracts when you turn the car off. My wife has a hard time getting in and out of the car. If it retracted all the way and lowered all the way, it would make her life easier.
