Great vehicle, tedious controls
I very much appreciate the comfort, ride and luxuries of my 2025 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy Night. It also has a great, sleek, but mean and powerful look to it. However, the digital controls when paired with an Android device are quite clunky and tedious. For some reason my cell phone has to be hard wired via USB for it to allow for Google Maps or Spotify, instead of being able to be done over Bluetooth. It boots up to a blank screen and not to the screen I left it on, every time. The volume and station switch buttons on the steering wheel are too stiff. And why is the heated steering wheel button on the center console and not on the steering wheel, itself? Unlike almost every other car made after 2015, there is no sunglasses holder dropdown from the roof console. I didn't catch this last thing until after I purchased the vehicle, but why doesn't the premiere luxury trim model of the Palisade not have electronic folding side mirrors? A Subaru Outback has that, for crying out loud... These are all first-world problems, but nuisances, nevertheless.
