Hyundai SUV Issues and Noises

The connection point between the rear spoiler is loose and rattle (where tailgate garnish matching side). Also, there is a weird wobbling noise coming from the right tire area.

**2024 Hyundai Palisade – Great Features, but Quality and Reliability Could Be Better** The 2024 Hyundai Palisade has attractive styling, plenty of great features, and offers good value for the money. It looks great and provides a lot for the price compared to other SUVs in its class. However, the overall quality has been just average in my experience. Repairs can be quite expensive, and I’ve recently started experiencing some mechanical issues that raise concerns about long-term reliability. Parts availability has also been inconsistent, which can make repairs frustrating and lead to longer wait times. Overall, the Palisade has a lot going for it in terms of styling, features, and value, but the quality, reliability, repair costs, and parts availability have been disappointing. I expected better in these areas from a relatively new vehicle.

We LOVE our Palisade!

We've been loyal Hyundai/Kia Buyers for over 20 years. We love the 10 year/100,000 mile warranty, but in all this time we've only needed it once with our old 2012 Sorrento (replaced the engine at 118,500 miles under warranty!) The Palisade is the cream of the crop. We bought the Calligraphy Edition and frankly, I still don't know how to use much of the stuff that comes on it. But the smooth, quiet ride, the stability on the highway, the comfort of the seating and ergonomics of the controls are all amazing. We average about 25 MPG on the highway which isn't terrific, but it's definitely not a gas guzzler, and for the size of the vehicle we're very happy with that. In town with mixed-driving we're still in the 22-23 range...again, it's not intended to be a ford pinto or a Toyota Prius, but it's not sucking fuel like a vacuum either. It's a full-sized SUV with room for 7 adults with all the trimmings. We LOVE it!

Title: Extremely Disappointed – Recurring Battery Drain and Electrical

I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with the ongoing problems with my Hyundai Palisade and the lack of a permanent solution from the service department. This is the SECOND time in less than a month that I have had to bring my vehicle in because the battery keeps draining for no apparent reason. Despite repeated inspections, the technicians have been unable to identify what is causing the problem. I keep being told that the battery tests fine, yet the vehicle continues to experience the same issue and eventually won't start. To make matters worse, I am also experiencing a recurring electrical problem with the seat massage system. The massage functions completely disappear from the vehicle's touchscreen menu, and the physical massage button on the seat becomes unresponsive. The only way to temporarily restore these features is to completely disconnect the battery. Everything works again for a while, but eventually the exact same problem returns. This clearly suggests an unresolved electrical or electronic issue, yet nobody has been able to identify the underlying cause. What makes this situation even more frustrating is the amount of time my vehicle has spent at the dealership without a real resolution. I should not have to repeatedly bring in a vehicle for the same problems, especially when these issues affect both its reliability and functionality. Disconnecting the battery and temporarily restoring the features is NOT a repair. And telling me the battery is fine does not explain why it keeps draining! I expected much better reliability, technical expertise, and customer service from Hyundai, particularly with a vehicle in this category and price range. At this point, I am seriously questioning the reliability of this vehicle and Hyundai's ability to properly diagnose and resolve these problems. I want a permanent solution, not another temporary fix followed by the same issues a few days or weeks later. Extremely disappointing experience.

DISAPPOINTED

I am so disappointed that Hyundai didn't have side mirror controls in the vehicle. Just ridiculous to have to get out to close the mirrors before a wash. I have the top end Calligraphy and really still can't believe you thought it would be acceptable to forego automatic mirrors. We have owned Hyundais and have had -0- issues until this ridiculous faux pas by not making side mirror open/close controls automatic. We would not have purchased this vehicle had we known about this omission. I'd like to know if it's been corrected on newer models!

Too many issues

I loved this vehicle when I first bought it, couldn't say enough good things about it. Unfortunately, I starting having issues with the rear suspension shortly after purchasing. I have since had it in the shop on 4 separate occasions for the same issue and I think it's going to have to go again. I drive a lot and pack miles on my car, so I really need something reliable. Sadly, after just over 2 years, I'm already considering trading it in on something else.

Love this car but has a couple major design flaws

First and most important is that I love this car! So much luxury without a luxury price tag. However, the antilock brake system has locked up a few times on its own while trying to come to a stop and I couldn’t brake and it was very scary — a major flaw in my opinion.

Comfortable Ride

The Palisade gives a great cabin and ride for a reasonable price. The car has plenty of power and, importantly, uses regular fuel.

I like my 2024 FWD Palisades

I am enjoying my Palisades FWD. It's roomy and good on gas. I just wish you could unlock the back doors from touching the handle. Unlocking the front door to open and then pushing the door unlocked button to unlock the back door is a pain especially when you have bags in your hands.
