Love the Hyundai Ionic plug-in hybrid, I saved so much in gas, I only filled car up once a month. I leased and stayed below my 36,000 miles in 3 years. I loved car so much had my sister test drive my car and she bought one. It's a better value for her as she has color panels and charging doesn't cost her anything

Great value for money

This car has incredible fuel mileage in the city, and also allows longer-distance travel in areas without charging infrastructure. Great accessories and other safety features at a super-affordable pricepoint.

Plug In Hybrid is Great

I love that the 30 mile range of the PHEV battery allows me to do my daily commute without using a drop of gas. It is also nice to have the gas engine available if I need to go on a long trip or have a lot of driving to do that day.

Nice small car with amazing fuel economy

For a daily commute of 50 miles a day, a great car. Acceleration is a bit slow, but otherwise great. I have PHEV which gets 29 miles per charge (actual 29 miles- my work is 23 miles and going uses 18-19 miles and (if I charge it at work), coming back uses 27-28 miles).

Most popular car in our driveway with the fuel economy and current fuel prices. Great dealership, great experience over all with the brand. daily commute is pure Electric and charging costs $1.47 versus $5.60 in our other car.

Mainly unhappy with the services and the settings in my car. They were not set properly set. Also there should be a CD player. Real problem not to have one. The charger door is flimsy. I like the color. Overall happy with the my purchase.

Great Commuter car

Love my Ioniq. Though electric cars may be the way to go in a few years, the plug-in hybrid is a great. Most of the time I can just use electric, but it allows for a longer trip without having to worry about finding a charging station.

Transition to electric affordable!

This vehicle is the perfect gateway to electric driving. We use a fraction of the fuel of our last car (and that was a Prius). Solidly made, versatile, and affordable (esp. given tax credit), I’m not sure why people aren’t buying these far more. They may just not know what they’re missing. A great family sedan.

I drive mostly locally so use the electric mode for the majority of this. A tank of gas lasts 3 months! I like having the hybrid as well for my occasional travel so I don’t have the charging station experience.

Great vehicle except for Eco mode

Base model doesn't let you shut off eco mode, which limits acceleration. Not exactly the best thing for trying to merge into city traffic. Other than that, very decent car. Wish I could shut off that eco mode.

nearly everything id want from a modern car. good efficiency in HEV mode, decent range in EV mode. i drive this car hundreds of miles per day for work so its important to have something comfortable and safe!

Dealership experience was good.

I am about 5feet 3 inches and weigh about 110 pounds. The vehicle fits my size and I provides me with a good view of the road. I also like the like the backup camera and the many other safety features.

Good car but some minor bugs

Honestly my favorite car it rides very smooth the throttle response is smooth even though it has to turn on the engine mid way through gassing it. The regen paddles feel great. The infotainment system is very responsive and everything just works except for a few small bugs that get worked out overtime

Love my plug in

Most of the miles I drive are less than 30 miles a day. So for approx 50 cents to fuly charge is basically free to drive around. I have 500 miles 95% is electric only. In fact I have to put gas stabilizer in the tank because it can take me a year to use 1/2 tank of gas?

The car is very easy to drive and has great gas economy. I have some issues with opening the doors because of using the button to open all doors from the driver's side. Charging from 120 volt is slow but acceptable.

Very satisfied with my 2021 Hyundai Ioniq plug in hybrid.

This car has the best MPG in the world. Hyundai is getting better year by year. I saw it catched up and bypassed Toyota. If anyone wants an hybrid car, the Hyundai Ioniq plug in hybrid is your choice. I highly recommend it.

great car

highly recommend drive was smooth and tech was awesome. family enjoys the quiet ride i love saving a pile of cash so i can take them on another vacation. at $.03 per kwh the vehicle costs about 10 bucks a month to keep full!
