EV and it’s fun to drive.

It’s green and it’s fun to drive. It gets me where I want to go and back and there are lots and lots and lots of charging stations around now although I don’t use the. I use mostly my charger at home.

Fun to drive and good for the planet

This car is super fun to drive and it’s powered by my solar roof, so I feel super good about driving it. My first EV is also my first new car purchase and my first leased vehicle. I’m very happy with it and expect to get my next EV from Hyundai.

Our first but not last Hyundia EV!

Although the Hyundia says the range is normally 170 miles I’m getting 225-240 mile range. Averaging 6+ miles per kw. It’s cheaper to pay to charge the battery than pay for gas. Environmentally friendly!

A pleasant surprise

Was looking for an EV due to gas prices rising. Test drove a few, but the price on the Ioniq was the best. Since day one, this car has been amazing. I’ve had no issues with it at all. I bought this car to save money, traded in my big luxury suv and figured I would miss all the features it had. To my surprise I actually like this little car better!

Great EV value

This is the first EV I've ever purchased also my first Hyundai. I am very impressed with the overall premium feel of the vehicle, the build quality and interior materials are excellent. This car gets great efficiency in spite of its smaller battery. It has a 170 mi range which is plenty for everyday driving. I have even taken a couple of 300 Mile road trips and with public fast charging stations it is totally possible. The car handles very well and the ride is very smooth and comfortable. The infotainment system is great. The navigation works perfectly and it even points out charging stations close to you as you pass them which is vital to owning an electric vehicle. Considering the direction electric vehicles have gone with all the expensive ones on the market, this car makes a lot of sense if you're looking for a more affordable entry point into electric vehicles. This car works for me everyday with my type of driving and I can avoid high gas prices and it saves me a ton of money on maintenance costs too. If you're considering a commuter car or replacing your everyday car, this car makes a lot of sense and it has a ton of features and options that you find on much more expensive vehicles. It's a great car! Also Hyundai's warranty and maintenance package included with this car is incredible peace of mind. This is an electric car that doesn't get a lot of press but it's affordable, very well built and should be one that you consider if you're looking to buy an EV.

I love my Ioniq EV

Had Ioniq for 8 months. Love it! Exceeded expectations. Use is local, averaging 30 miles/day. For that reason charging at home using 120V works fine. Michelin tires are the wrong choice for cold weather, dangerous on ice patches.

Everything thing was great except I do not have an Ioniq Hybrid - I have an EV

I like everything about the vehicle. However, when I was running out of power, I had them send directions to the nearest charging station to the vehicle and I did not understand the navigation. I could not find where it would speak to you either.

Great practical car!

We wanted an electric car that my wife could drive with a good safety rating and driving position for her smaller frame. The Ioniq SEL EV turned out to be a perfect fit. The car is stable and for us very easy to charge using level 1 (115 volts), which at 91% has a195 mile range, which fits our driving need perfectly. The car is very stable, quiet, and it takes bumps smoothly. The Bluelink navigation using voice has been surprisingly accurate, and we love the two-pre-set seating positions - just makes sharing the car so easy. Overall, we are totally satisfied and happy with our Ioniq EV purchase.

Great car (I have the Ioniq EV)

I’m just really pleased with our choice. The Ioniq EV has been perfect for our family. It’s our only vehicle and it’s been great. As a hatchback, it can handle a lot of cargo for its size, and range anxiety hasn’t been an issue.

Great first EV vehicle!

Definitely satisfied using this as a commuter vehicle. Hyundai has come far with their build quality. Looking forward to their dedicated EV lines. The range is not too impressive compared to other EVs out in the market near this price, but overall great first EV vehicle.

Love this car

We love our Ionic, we just wish it had a longer range. If you want the benefits of an electric car with the size of a sedan, the Ionic is perfect for you! My teenage son loves the low cost of use of the Ionic.

First electric

good car. Not for fast driving long distance. Commuting this is perfect, but not for long commutes or traveling unless you have lots of time. didn't realize the mileage limitation on the charge would impact me as much as it does but otherwise I am very satisfied

good quality Good quality compared to the price of the least very comfortable ride. I will be recommending this car to others too as well. If I was pretty happy with this card so I leased a second one

Happy not paying for gas. The milage range works perfectly for me as I drive 50 miles both ways. For going on a trip I wouldn't recommend it but for city use it's perfect. Only If the dealers would give a better customer service, it's a great car.

Love it

I love my ioniq. It is quiet. I love the smooth ride. It looks beautiful. It is very comfortable drive. Safety features are above average. I feel safe and would trust it to keep my kids safe in it. I also added a safety device.

very good performance but would like to increase battery charger capacity and also need to improve for airconditoner function as cold air and hot air also, not blowing properly.. Generally has good perfomance and is comfortable

Decent Car, Wrong MSRP

The Ioniq is a very solid vehicle for what it is, a useful interior with awesome features. However the overall build quality of the car as well as the very low EV mile range, does NOT justify the MSRP point of $38k. This is a very similar MSRP of Tesla Model 3 which has a much better build quality as well as more battery range. If the MSRP were $7-10k cheaper than this car is an absolute must for a driver that isn't looking for luxury and would rather save money! This car otherwise drives great and has really cool features. Overall, luxury pricing for a non-luxury car.

i like it except for a radio problem: phone is linked using Apple Play wirelessly. When the phone is locked or an app is closed, the car radio always turns on, and we have to push the volume knob to turn the radio off.

Great car! Well worth it

this is a great car and glad to get an EV. Smooth ride, great convenience/safety features, decent battery range. It's not a sports car, so I feel it could handle a little better around turns, but it does overall drive well. Acceleration could also be improved, but it is a quick car overall- almost too much so. I often find myself doing well over the speed limit when I shouldn't.
