My car stopped running at 12k miles

At 12,000 miles while driving the ionic nine refused between the lithium battery and a 12 V battery blew. I heard an audible pop in the car essentially stopped running. Topped out at 20 miles an hour trying to get home. As it turns out the ICCU blew up and needs to be replaced. Took it to dealer on a Saturday and I’m waiting a full week for a part to be delivered. Hopefully to be installed right away. I won’t find out till Friday.

AC/compressor Failed in 4 MOS

Inside is spacious-too many loose wires below seats. Outside design is good minus the back. Compressor failed in 4 mos- really? This is a brand new car!

So this car checks all the boxes, period. Incredible ride, great range, easy to charge, roomy and quiet.

Luxury Ride

It's a joy to drive! We've driven from Temecula, CA to Bend, OR (2,000 mi) round trip. Tesla charging option was a game changer. We plan to take another trip through same locations in two months. No range anxiety is another key factor. Of course, would like a longer overall range.

Lots of stupid issues - mostly software.

No walk away door lock. Open tail gate changes ability to lock/unlock doors. No cruise resume. No cruise only single button touch. Charge port opposite to use for most NACS chargers. Dont need FIFA or Disney buttons. Pour direct streaming. Need something like Tesla Livestream. Assisted driving is too erratic to depend on. Don’t need reminder every five minutes to take a break. Do like ability to use Utility Mode. Monthly charge to high to not provide streaming of music.

Nice vehicle, terrible tires

I like the vehicle, but the "all-season" tires it came with were terrible. Parked facing downhill on some ice, I came out to find it resting against a tree.

IONIQ9 SEL is a great experience over traditional vehicles, but also highlights all the ways it's stuck with the problem of traditional vehicle design.

Irritating software but overall good car

Very comfortable, roomy, brisk acceleration and good range. Software package can be irritating but overall it’s functional and most people would not be dissatisfied it’s performance.

Great Car - Couple of quirks

Love 99% of things about it. Would like to see the Dash Camera function that was added to other models. Had the ICCU fail. That is a common issue on Hyundai's and Kia's.

Overall it is okay but disappointed in quality control. I expected better from Hyundai. Ride is very quiet and vehicle handles well. It is fun to drive.

Great ride, great promise, disappointing delivery

Hyundai makes great cars. Comfortable ride, mostly reliable. They software feels like it is from 15 years ago. Dated, buggy and not intuitive. They are not updating and fixing issues nor releasing new features. The ICCU issue hangs over all our heads, waiting for the vehicle to fail without any communication from Hyundai. My vehicle has a ton of great hardware they are not using. Afraid this platform is being abandoned and focus is on the new UX - Pleos.

For such an expensive vehicle, could use some improvements.

Good SUV, Could be great with some improvements. Needs complete integration with both Android Auto and Apple Car Play. Too much trouble switching between built in Nav system and Google or Apple. Doesn't need power steering above about 20 MPH. Would handle much better. Still a lovely SUV to drive (and the performance model is scary fast). Also could use automatic air adjustable suspension.

Has been in the shop since I got it

I got this car brand new, Calligraphy trim, in April. It is August 5th and has been in the shop for 75% of that time. Hyundai is refusing to properly adjudicate for lemon law or tell me their findings. All the while I'm paying an 700+ dollar lease. Do not buy this car.

Incredible vehicle!

My first all electric EV and I never want to go back. The Calligraphy has so many fantastic features. It's like an electric Palisade and I love it!
