Best vehicle I've ever owned
I love my Ioniq 6, after a year, I've put way more miles on it than I thought I would, because it's such a joy to drive. The EV charging networks are built out, and I've taken a 2,000 mile road trip down the west coast on I-5. By the time I'm ready to stretch my legs, get a coffee, or use the bathroom, after having driven for 3 hours or so, finding a charging station is no problem. The car charges from 20% to 80% in about 17 minutes. Often times that's not even long enough to stretch my legs and get back to the car.
For all the benefits of driving and EV, the work of charging the vehicle is a great tradeoff. The car is safe, roomy, efficient, fast, comfortable, and it was affordable. I take the car up to the mountains, I've bought cargo from Home Depot, Ikea, and Costco with no worries, thanks to the huge back seat and the length of the car. If I sometimes have to wait for a charger, it's ok for me, because of all the benefits of owning an EV.
This is just a great car. Anyone that has worries about charging or other issues, if you are willing to give it a chance, you will find it's a great tradeoff to spend a little more time "filling up" for all the benefits. If you can install a Level 2 charger in your house (meaning, you have enough capacity to install a new 220 volt plug), it becomes a total game changer and you almost never have to charge in public, you just wake up in the morning, the car is ready to go. If you have to charge using Electrify America or other networks, this is the fastest charging mid-price vehicle on the market today, as I mentioned above.
I love his vehicle, and I enjoy driving it ever time I get in it.
