Fantastic driving experience.

This car is so much fun to drive, that I offer to pick up friends every time we go somewhere. The pickup is immediate, the drive is smooth, and there is an incredible amount of passenger space even with my driver's seat all the way back. I'm not quite sure why, but the car seems to stay clean all the time, even after getting rained on. It is either the design of the car, the paint job, or the sealer that the dealer applied when I purchased it.

First few months with Ioniq 6 LTD

Fast and comfortable, with more bells and whistles then you can imagine. While it has amazing safety features, it also has a design issue that could cause safety problems. The way the back window is designed allows rainwater to just sit there when you are driving (it doesn't roll off) making for poor rear-view visibility. Also, the side windows do the same thing. The one big flaw with this car (or at least my car). Charging is smooth and fast. All in all, I am happy with the purchase.

no wireless carplay/android auto

Great car. It feels sturdy, it has lots of leg room in the back seat area, and I love the ambient lights. However, I wish the vents in the back were stronger and ultimately, I believe in this age, there should already be wireless capability for carplay and android auto. It feels prehistoric for a car at this price to not have that. The dashboard system software feels a bit laggy, too - especially compared to Tesla.

Best car I've owned

My 1st electric vehicle! Great acceleration. Quick charging. Love that someone actually made a good electric sedan. Very reliable so far. I would recommend this to anyone who doesn't want a compact SUV like the rest of the US.

Car drives well and has many positives; you feel like you are truly driving a luxury vehicle. HOWEVER, the range on this vehicle is terrible. In the winter the kwpm goes from 3.1ish to 1.9. Meaning you cannot make a 3 hour drive without recharging. Furthermore, when it is cold, it takes over an hour to use a "fast charger." Car has a good feel to it but my goodness the battery technology is severely lagging behind on this vehicle.

Good safety features, good styling, and good value.

We decided to purchase the Ioniq 6 initially because it had a lot of the safety features as standard equipment. The reasonable starting price allowed us to go with the Limited package to get pretty much everything we wanted. We still get compliments on the style and look of the vehicle.

Couldn't Be More Pleased

This is my first electric vehicle, and I couldn't be more pleased overall. Very minors issues. Only true complaint relates to the matte paint, which requires handwashing only, and is also difficult to feather in touch-up paint.

Good experience so far, except for my confidence in the braking system

Satisfied with the vehicle overall. However, when I first got the car, it would slip on a dry road when I press the brakes abruptly. I am not confident now that the car would not continue slipping when I have to press the brakes suddenly.

Good car

I like my ioniq 6, it handles exceptional well in wet/rainy conditions. It did well in snow, but I did put on snow tires for the winter. But unlike and ICE vehicle, the front does not warm up to melt snow/ice from the hood/windshield area. The interior stayed warm and were able to melt ice/snow from the windows. The seats seem a bit flat but were ok during long trips.

Not a bad car to get lost in, but you'll definitely get lost.

It feels like a it would be a great car if the computer would get out of the way. It's smooth, fast, spacious, and stylish, but the unfinished and laggy feel of the infotainment system and overall dependence on it as a software-defined vehicle frequently frustrate me to the point that I forget all of the good things about it. The car is only a year old, but the performance of the computer already seems to be deteriorating similar to how a smartphone does. At this rate, the car might not be drivable in a few years unless the computer can be swapped out. The biggest frustration is the lack of wireless CarPlay or Auto. The native navigation is aggressively bad and outdated, frequently sending me directly into the heaviest traffic when other option look to be available. Many streets are missing or incorrectly marked, overall it appears to be on a two-year delay in updating roads and features. The directions are often confusing, resulting in missed or too-early turns. The car really doesn't have too many flaws. The problem is that the flaws that it *does* have are so in-your-face that they are impossible to ignore. It's the opposite of a Tesla. Great physical attributes, looks, and comfort, but underpinned by seriously lacking technology. My intention with my next vehicle is to buy an older Porsche, such as a 996 or 987, with similar style, performance, and comfort, but less weight and tech.
