I totally love this car

I've had my Ioniq 5 for almost 3 months now and have Zero complaints. The car is incredibly solid and fun to drive with amazing acceleration. Whisper quiet.

Very good value for the money.

Should make front camera view standard across the trims. Even Nissan Leaf has front camera standard. Also work on the software.

Pleasure to drive this EV

Love it so far after 2 months. Comfortable and easy to drive, handles nicely and has good safety features. Battery has great range, the one pedal feature saves wear on brakes and extends range so we use it all the time

Overall- Great car! Seats are a bit stiff in the SEL trim.

We love the size and performance of our SEL trim level. The front seats are not very comfortable though. The plastic "leather" is stiff and neither my wife nor I find them comfortable despite lots of power adjustment options.

P1AD300 error after 2000 miles

After leasing this car new and driving it for two months, it generated a P1AD300 error indicating the main battery needs to be replaced. Unfortunately, the repair time is six months. I am out of this car for six months after only two months of driving. Hard to give it a good review.

Great intro to electric vehicles

The Ioniq 5 was the first EV I'd ever driven and it's a great introduction. The most used features have physical buttons (apart from climate control. . .wish the heat/cool temperature buttons were physical and not just touch), the car is comfy to drive, and has plenty of room for my needs. I have had no issues in my 2 months of ownership though I do worry about potential future issues relating to the main car battery as well as the 12v as lots of folks online have had issues with one or both.

Vehicle is great; electronics software doesn't always work correctly

The vehicle is great except for the electronics. Sometimes the radio does not go off when I take a call. Other times the door lock system does not respond correctly.

The IONIQ 5 Drives Like a Dream

I love my IONIQ 5. It drives buttery smooth, has great acceleration, has all of the smart features you could want, and above average range. It comes with that amazing Hyundai warranty as well. When I initially went to buy a Hyundai the IONIQ 5 never even crossed my mind. I test drove the Tuscon and Kona, but the salesman recommended I drove the IONIQ 5 as well and I'm glad he did. On the test drive alone I was sold. It handles extremely well. It was between the IONIQ 5 and the Kia EV6, but I chose the IONIQ because of the more comfortable and spacious interior. The fact that it comes standard with the Tesla NACS charger means it's the perfect car for commutes or even roadtrips, with 0-80% in about 15 minutes. I mostly just charge at home though. Overall, I'm happy with my lease and when it's up I will definitely be getting another Hyundai.

Hyundai is making buying an EV as easy as ever

Hyundai is really making an effort of the customer experience. The Ioniq 5 is a quick and fully featured EV even at the SE trim. The addition of the NACS charging port along with coming with the adapters for CCS and J117 making charging less complicated on road trips. Hyundai Pay is a great stepping stone in ease of paying for charging on road trips making it simple for a new EV driver. Hopefully it will get even better with included discounts with partnerships with other charging companies. Driving the Ioniq 5 is fun and spacious enough for a family of 4. Cargo space is adequate but a bit small for larger luggage. Overall, this EV is top tier for features vs price and is great for anyone interested in getting their first EV.

Ioniq 5 Meets or Exceeds all Expectations

Very happy with my first all electric vehicle- comfortable, quiet, good handling, , braking and acceleration. Excellent range and seamless recharging with both Level 2 and 3 charging.
