2013 Genesis R-Spec 5.0
Great car. 8-speed transmission sometimes gets "lost" during I was involved in an accident with my 2013 Genesis 5.0 R-Spec. Sitting at a red light, I was rear-ended by a Ford F-250 doing 40mph. The active head restraints performed excellent and most likely saved me from severe neck/spine injury. The car absorbed the energy from the hit and kept me safe. The down side is that the car had I saved for many years to purchase, was totaled. Only 19,000 miles on her.
I pick-up my new 2015 Genesis 3.8V6-AWD this coming week. Love the brand, love the car, love the safety.
ortydriving. Windshield wipers are hard to clean off during the winter months as they do not pull off the windshield very far due to interference from the hood. Those are the only two worthy complaints I have. I was involved in an accident with this car. Rear-ended by a Ford F-250 doing 40mph. while I was sitting at a red light. The "Active Head-rest" system worked flawlessly. Saved my big injury. Car took the hit and saved me. Car was totaled. Buying a 2015 Genesis this week.
