Brakes concern me

The brakes do not make me feel secure. Especially if its raining. When going downhill the brakes get tight and let loose while my foot is pressing it down. No im not pressing it down forcefully. This vehicle in the rain is terrifying.

Bought and paid for car couldn’t take it hom not safe. Still not!

Could not even take car home the day I bought and paid for it! Back seat kept folding down. Wanted to take it on vacation and had to use our older car! Still not comfortable driving with back seat passengers. (Grand kids). Waiting for parts since 7/31/2026. When I did pick it up from the dealer after they ordered the parts it was dirty and I had to remove some of the shipping materials. Not happy at all. First time buying a Hyundai and wouldn’t recommend to anyone! I used to work in a Chevrolet dealership and we wouldn’t have even thought of letting the car leave the dealership that way! I stopped and got a car wash on the way home. I haven’t even driven the car enough to give a mechanical rating.

I have a wife and kids and the car is just too small for us…:unfortunately i am bound to a 3 year lease or i would get out of it now

It’s okay-ish

The seating is uncomfortable. And the transmission sticks around 1.9k 2.0k and 2.1k rpms.

Happy in HYUNDAI Heaven

Thus far, I've been very pleased with the features I've tried and ones I've simply discovered! On occasion, the car has surprised me with features I hadn't yet read about in my manual, such as, while driving one night with my headlights on bright, I noticed they automatically dimmed to oncoming traffic. Another time, while on a fairly long road trip, I heard a series of short warning "rings", and when I looked at the instrument panel, the car was asking me "Consider taking a break " And, the message included a picture of a small cup of coffee! Can't wait to see what comes next!

Sporty and reliable

I love my new Elantra Sport Premium vehicle. The white with black trip is very sporty looking and the sport drive feature makes is additionally fun to drive. It handles well and is great on gas. It's an amazing value for the money and with the bumper to bumper and five year warranty it is the best buy on the market!

Great little commuter car, comfortable ride

This thing rides almost as soft as my Chevy Impala did. Cornering is excellent. Transmission does fine, even on steep hills. Engine compartment is clean and organized, not cluttered like a lot of small, newer vehicles. Surprisingly simple car for today's complex world. Driver assistance features can be a bit annoying, but they work well. I just wish Hyundai was a little more accepting of self-maintenance. They want you to run to the dealer for every little thing. I'm just not going to do that.

Great little car

I bought the Elantra because I needed a second car around town and trips to Little Rock, about 60 miles round trip and I wanted good mileage without the hybrid expense and I don't care for electric vehicles. My Elantra sel sport has exceeded my expectation in every way possible. Mileage is exceptional, far beyond what the window sticker stated, Performance is very acceptable as is handling. The car looks great and and is actually quite roomy. I spent 52 years in the retail auto industry and I can say that it has been a very pleasant surprise in every way.
