could of been better

the gas tank is way to small only 12 gallons. it goes through gas like its a v8 even when your light on the throttle. octane learning is a pain in the butt and by the time it learns its time to refill. I wouldn't get another one.

A rowdy sedan

Vehicle itself is a blast to drive, tight handling, jumpy acceleration and aggressive looks to go along with the ride. Would outsell the whole market of sedan sport style cars if it was rear wheel drive without a doubt. Only issues found would be absurd wheel hop when punching the accelerator off the line which in part is due with the front wheel drive format, along with slightly under stiff motor mounts allowing weight to aggressively shift adding to the jolting off the line. Generally though it’s not a drag race car so this is negligible when you realize the lessened rigid mount adds to the cars ability to feel alive in turns.

Engineering goes DEEP on the Elantra N! Most for the money...

Performance as a daily and as a fun car...both amazing. Incredible value with all the special engineering put into this car. You get far more compared to anything else out there. All the customizable parameters, great PHYSICAL controls on the steering wheel and dash. Totally comfortable in Normal mode, still not overly stiff in firmer modes (you can dial it in for road conditions). Seats are firm but really hold you. Tons of space for stuff and passengers. If you study the performance bits and systems integration/tuning plus overbuilt cooling and braking, they didn't just bolt on parts. Really stable and great grip. Was wonderful on road trips, fantastic around town, great on twisty roads. Long warranty that allows track days. Rare value/practical/fun car that will be changing in the next generation to something larger (and rumors say no manual offered in next generation)...

Best bang for the buck performance vehicle on market today

Fun to drive but difficult to get in and out of vehicle due to front seat bolsters and low to ground suspension. Tires have a low tread wear rating of 300 but excellent traction with AA rating so handling is as good as cars costing much more.

Exterior quality and fitment

The panel alignment is inconsistent in several areas. The hood, trunk, front bumper, and rear bumper don’t sit perfectly flush with the surrounding body panels, and the gaps look uneven from one side to the other. The front bump pushes the grill inward very easily and causes them to become detached oftentimes.

Above Average, but missing basic features

No wireless CarPlay is a huge letdown. The other issues could potentially be fixed with a software update.

Fun to drive and bit octane learning sucks. Upgrade the rear mount.

Worth every penny. Only complaint id paint is thin and chips easily and the rear mount is super soft. If you are getting a manual install a billit works short shifter and thank me later.

Amazing value and track ready

Car is very fun to drive. Tight suspension with reinforcement in the chassis means it corners like a wild animal. Dual clutch auto transmission works seamlessly. Plenty of horsepower for a peppy, fun ride. Obviously this isn’t the most powerful car on the market, but it has enough to make driving it interesting. Points off for build quality though. Body panels don’t quite meet up as they should and others have reported vibrations causing parts to buzz or hum, though I haven’t had that issue. Road noise is high, I ended up putting sound insulation in the wheel wells to dampen it. Be sure to budget for a second set of tires. The summer tires it comes with are no good in the rain and shouldn’t be used in cold weather.

The best bang for buck fwd sports car ever made.

Overall this is an amazing sports car that you can daily. Admittedly though the 19-inch wheels are harsh for potholes and City driving where roads aren't great.
