Poor Customer Service

I purchased 2 vehicles from Hyundai. Each time I had a very poor customer service experience. Due to the constant negative experiences, plainness of the amenities offered, and the low-quality visual appeal, I have already been brainstorming ending my lease early and looking at other cars - doing some pre-shopping research. Unfortunately, I still have to wait 18 more months to take steps to end my lease early due to the fact that I purchased the car just 6 months ago.

Nice car overall, but high RPMs and poor rear view are issues.

it’s a good-looking and nice car. However, the hybrid model I own sometimes bothers me because the RPMs get very high even at low speeds. Another issue I’ve noticed is that the rear visibility isn’t great due to the car’s design.

Great car with unbelievable gas mileage

This car is made for city driving. You get better gas mileage in the city than on the highway. I am averaging 49-50mpg in the city and 37-40mpg on the highway. Of course there could be some improvements on the car. For instance, I can never get the battery to charge up to 100%...When it is warming up in the morning, after about 3 minutes the engine shuts off, this will not be good in the winter time when there is snow and ice on the ground...The engine won't be fully warmed up. Also, when driving in ECO mode if you press the accelerator pedal down to the floor, it takes about 3 seconds before the car responds, that is too long when driving either in the city or on the highway. That response time needs to be cut in half. There are two other options i wish the car had: #1-To be able to keep the car running on gas when warming up, not shutting off so fast. #2-To be able to run the car strictly on the battery or gas with the push of a button. Other than that, the car is great for a sedan. I have had the car since about the last week in march, so for the last two months I have only filled up the gas tank 3 times. 2 out of the 3 fill ups where after a 200 mile round trip to my parents.

An absolute joy to drive, every time you buckle up

I’ve been driving for 25 years, and dozens of different cars, and I have never driven a car as smooth, fun, and effortless as the Elantra. The amount of money we are saving on gas makes the monthly payments manageable, and the car literally sings when it’s on battery. The backup external noise is a simple, brilliant addition I absolutely love, and the backup cameras fisheye makes it easy and safe to back up.

Brand New Spaceship at a way lower cost than competitors

The 2025 Elantra Hybrid Limited is a loaded spaceship with every feature imaginable. DRLs, a sleek exterior, programmable remote start, interior lighting, Bose speakers, backup camera, ventilated and heated seats, plenty of plugs for your phone and storage space in the trunk. I could go on and on and on. For under $30k and achieving an average of 50mpg over the last few months of ownership, how could I ever recommend any other vehicle than this one? I’ve been a Hyundai customer for life and it seems like it will remain that way
