I have owned a 2021 & now a 2025 Genesis GV-80. Great experience.

The 2025 is a nice upgrade of the 2021 model. The drive is amazing and comfortable and the user adjustable features are very good.

Missed the Mark

If you have pets, GV80 is not for you. Had 2023 GV80 2 rows. It had vents in the back but they weren't hooked up. Found that out after purchase, when traveling with pets and it was very warm in the back with no air flow.. Was told by Genesis Dealer I needed to get a 3 row GV80 to get air conditioning in the rear of the car. I looked at the 2025 GV80 3 row as it solved the problem for the pets but had no spare tire! They said buy a spare and we will mount it under the car. I bought the car, bought the spare, brought it to the dealer and the service dept said there was no way to mount the spare. The spare now takes up the majority of the room in the back so the dogs are now cool but cramped. I've had the 2025 GV80 4 months and am already looking into getting rid of the Genesis and buying a new car that has air conditioning in the rear and has a spare tire for safety!

GV80 coupe

so far - I love the car and way it drives. Love adaptive cruise control and Auto Stop- total Knee saver. 2 things I would change- 1. Auto lock when walk away from vehicle/unlock drivers door when walk up to vehicle. And 2. Trunk auto open- I don’t carry around the fob- and would like to step up and have trunk open/ even if was a detection point under car. Did notice review mirror gets hot when in digital mirror. I did turn brightness down which helped- but I still think gets too warm.

Luxury SUV with all the bells & whistles for a good price!

I love my GV80! It’s a great combination of price, luxury, performance and modern amenities! Only issue is I’m still unable to connect CarPlay wirelessly despite the update!

Beautiful car - inside and out. Minor complaints about the system.

Love the look and feel of my car. My complaint is that the CarPlay system still won't connect wirelessly, and the dealer stated this would eventually update when I've had it for a week or so. I have to keep it plugged into the outlet to work. Additionally, it doesn't automatically connect to my phone. I have to select it by going through a series of buttons every time I use my car.

Prior owned 27 cars-2017 G80, 2023 GV60, 2025 GV80. I love all my "Gs"

I am a very spirited Genesis customer. The GV80 is great and will be beyond my expectations once I learn all the features. I finally figured out the "ok" button. I'm still searching for the button that controls the rear window windshield wiper. I don't drive a lot as my less-than-600 miles miles surely indicate. The GV60 had many more features than my GV80 does. I didn't know how valuable the extras were before I moved up. I love my GV80 and the safety it's safety recoverd per the Tiger Woods experience.
