One of the best on the road. Comfort, design appearance all great.

I love driving this automobile, and have not had any problems except for the driver seatbelt kept getting twisted. I just wish it was a hybrid because the gas 93 octane is killing my wallet. Otherwise, I will continue to buy the Genesis product.

Genesis GV80

Styling is good; engine is better than the original first GV80. The new display is far better than the original one. I was surprised you used the same materials for the "chrome" around the lower doors - the first original one had the same as now: mars so needed to be replaced. The drive is not as good as the original one; I think it's larger and feels like we'll tip over on curves: suspension seems not good. I thought Road Preview was standard but guess not. Disappointing. If asked, I would have said you sold me one of the original, just with the new display.

Best Car

This GV80 is by far the best car I have ever owned. I have always owned Toyotas (5 in all) and loved my Toyotas but the Genesis is a far better vehicle.

Battery problems continue

I continue to have problems with my battery drawing when not in use. Car is 19 months old. 2nd battery. Problem still exist. In the shop again for 2 weeks

Too many of the "advanced features" are bad to horrible

Nice car. handles well. Then it starts tellign you to "take a break" with an incessant dinging notification that cannot eb turned off or at least muted. There is no explanatio of WHY it is doing this, or what part of your driving activates it, it often seems random. I have driven 1.5 hours with no notifications. I have also driven 5 hour swith it dinging every 8 minutes the entire trip. THIS ALONE IS ENOUGH TO NOT RECOMMEND THE CAR AT ALL TO ANYONE. The haptic button on doors...every other car, touching it is primarily to unlock the car, but since Genesis unlocks when your key is nearby, then accidentally touching or even brushing it LOCKS the door you are trying to open. The door does then not have a second push unlock hte door for some reason, meaning i now have to find my key to unlock, defeating the purpose of the entire system. The key fob itself is stupid. Why are the buttons so tiny and on the edges? they are hard to press and since the fob has them on both edges, you cant just press by memory. This is bad design. The "using your phone as a key" is pretty neat until you get in your car and left your key sitting somewhere and drive off and dont realize it for half an hour. There should be a notification upon using the phone to start that YOUR KEY IS NOT PRESENT at least as a reminder that the key isnt in the car. Get rid of the Choose Driver menu at every start. I woudl bet 95% of all trips are taken by the same driver in every vehicle. If you want to change driver, that can be a small button but not the whole screen. The cruise control SUCKS that it does not have a traditional mode and only the adaptive or distance sensing. I hate adaptive cruise, I want to pass slow cars not be slowed to be in behind them. The Majority, if not all, of the front-facing sensor settings ARE BAD. I think this is compounded for me because I am tall and the position of the sensor combined with the tilt of the wheel and then the even more upward angle to my eyes make it hard to read. Sure would be nice to disable things like that which will literally never work for me. Speaking of which, allow the Driver seat to scoot back further. The flappy paddle shifters....why would i need these in an SUV? Revert to the old tradition of putting the audio controls behind the wheel. Also the swipe button feature just isnt good.

excellent handling, comfortable front seats, great ride, however very poor gas milage, very tight second row (leg room), unusable third row.

Lightning Strikes Twice

This is the second GV80 that I have owned in the last 5 years. They maintained the great luxury items from the first pass and added the latest tech to keep the line competitive with other luxury lines that are available. For those unsure about the make or model should test drive and you will be impressed!! It is cost effective and performs as a luxury vehicle should on every level.

Beautiful Vehicle But Misses the Mark!

Would not buy it again. It's missing features that other cars have and has a number of issues. No passenger memory seat or massage. It is not made to have 2 drivers of different heights own/operate the vehicle. It does not recognize each driver by the key fob or app. You need to get in the car, press the start button, wait for the legal disclaimer to go away before confiming a profile/driver. Then it sometimes goes to the right seat position and other times goes to a randon position than either driver's position. The touch screen erratically responsive which means taking your eyes off the road to look and repeatedly press the selection. It should have dual front seat fan controls. Vents should have flow adjustments vs. only on/off. Sat radio should show list of channels not just categories of music. If you don't know the channel number you can't enter it. The nav says stupid things like "turn at the 3rd road" when there's only one road possible to turn onto. (it happens the 202 loaner too. We're waiting 2 weeks for the differential to be replaced under warranty.) Often the correct phone doesn't pair so hands free driving is moot. It makes me turn off and on my bluetooth while driving to connect.

Interior needs some work, t h e molding continuly works loose. The buttons are placed in terrible positions. No rear room for seating.
