Engine reliability issues..... Delays as well.....
Began ordered a 2021 GV80 Advanced.... However due to pandemic related issues it pushed back and eventually after about a 9 months of waiting, was able to get a 2023 GV80. 2023 has removed the HDA II features completely. Which I expect no chance in the future to get it back. When I took delivery of vehicle and drove it. I experienced so far 3 engine warning lights. All 3 times was the same code P00C4, I did take it to my dealer all 3 times and they did their best to resolve it and attempt to fix it. I say attempt because of the time I am writing this review, I only had this GV80 back for only 4 days. Typically once it hits about a week or so the light will come back up. So as of right now I am on edge and not confident on whether or not the engine warning light will come on again. The transmission is also a bit of an issue when performing light acceleration. It constantly searches for the correct gear (jerks a bit) then finally finds it. Overall, I love the usability, exterior design and interior design, the choice of colors. However the engine/transmission performance and reliability is the biggest detraction of the minus 2 stars. Otherwise if I didn't experience any of the issues, I would've given this rating a 5/5.
