Great Fun Minus Glitches

Comfortable, quick, quiet but quirky. Electronics not very user friendly or intuitive. Lack of auto lock when leaving the car is annoying. 21” wheels unnecessarily make ride stiff and jarring on small bumps or holes in pavement. Auto wipers are inconsistent. Passenger seat should have thigh support extender. “Eyes on the road” warning is over the top. All relatively small things, but annoying in a luxury car.

Very quiet, comfortable and smooth ride.

A very comfortable, quiet and smooth ride. Finely appointed interior. Hands free driving seems competent. Drives a bit larger than what it is. I was hoping for a bit better gas mileage and acceleration from stop. Sufficient power for passing. Overall, a very nice vehicle.

Drives like a Dream

Impressive combination of style, performance, features and comfort. Just returned from our first road trip to the Berksires in MA. The trip consisted of highways and country roads involving various driving modes, specifically Sport and Comfort. The GV70 performed flawlessly, easily transitioning from long hilly stretches to sharp curves never losing its grip on the road. There was no sense of sway or lack of control. The car just ate up the road in style.

Absolutely love my Genesis!

Everything about the vehicle … I ❤️ The GV 70 prestige package is the ultimate and comfort in style. I get so many compliments on this vehicle every time I’m out and about. This is my second one the exact same style and it doesn’t disappoint. I’m hoping to stay with the Genesis family for a long time.

Very quiet ride; very nice appearance

In the Sports section of the Infotainment, why isn't Football listed? The number one sport in America and it is not included???? Doesn't make sense. Hyundai sponsors the Georgia Tech Football field in Atlanta; why not include Football as an option????

It's been good.

I like the GV70 very much. I traded my 22 GV70 3.5 for a 25 2.5 I wish the GV70 2.5 came with all the same options and quality that the 3.5 has. My biggest issue is the seats. In my 3.5 they were all leather. The 2.5 is a combination ot leather and cloth.

GV70 has sporty exterior, beautiful interior , advanced features, , .

Love my GV70 so far, driving,interior,safety,comfortable seats,android auto , hopefully will last for long time . Has been hearing bad reviews and vehicles being stoled suddenly in the middle of the road . But ,thankfully my car has been ok so far .

Great!

I really studied this car and compared it to the BMW X5, the GV70 checked almost every box. I like mostly everything about this car, substantial build, heavy, plants itself to the road, beautiful styling in and out, very easy getting in and out, great outside dimensions more for personal use, great performance. The BMW has more of a performance feel inside and great operating ergonomics but the rest was lacking for me personally.

Great car missing the true luxury of a car this type

If the update would, update the car would be elite misssing lots of bellls and whistles however other wise a above standard suv maybe I made a mistake and went with a Lexus or bmw I know they are more consistent of a car or suv . Could you please send the over the air update so I can be even more proud of this suv.

This vehicle has a great ride and it handles like a sports car

Like I said I love this vehicle and it very luxurious And love the interior design special features and rides and handles like a sports car, very comfortable and great audio and sound l.. like it came fully equipped and all the safety features are a plus

Disappointed.

Very unhappy. Did I buy a lemon? Within first 2 weeks Fender flare separating from car. Held on with Tape. Car started stalling due to a broken turbo coolant pump within the first 6 weeks. Was dangerous until they fixed it. Stalling getting on highway. Very happy with service rep, Chad and salesman Joe. They were great. Very unhappy with the general manager., John Mcfarland, who showed no concern, no customer service skills. Mitigated the problem. Ruined the experience. I know things happen but he actually told me they needed to "stick more tape" between the fender that was separating from the car. Now I keep expecting something else to go wrong. Always wanted to try Genesis. Expected to be treated well. Should have bought a Lexus!

Great luxury vehicle at a reasonable price point.

I love my new GV70! The quilted seats, dark blue interior with red trim/seat belts, quiet ride and not too big a size make it a very enjoyable ride. There is a bit too much "tech" for me as well as too many ways to do the same thing but I usually "ignore" those buttons and knobs and dials.

Disappointed

Build quality is disappointing. Some good qualities to the card including drive handling, a lot of features and styling but there's an annoying problem with engine light that service can't figure out. I want to like the car but quality isn't as complete as competitors.

A big car with a small transmission,

While the Genesis GV70 2.5 has a stylish design and a well-appointed interior, it didn’t quite meet my expectations. The driving experience felt underwhelming, particularly in terms of acceleration and handling. The infotainment system, while sleek, wasn’t the most intuitive, and some of the tech features felt more like gimmicks than useful tools. Overall, despite its luxury appeal, I found it lacking the performance and refinement I was hoping for.

Very comfy bad gas mileage

Very comfy and full of tech. Missing some stuff that other luxury brands have that seem strange. Rotary shifter sucks, gas mileage sucks, inability to schedule auto start so I do have to manually do it every morning is ridiculous, inability to have the doors auto lock when you walk away with the keys in your pocket is ridiculous as well. These features should have been included.

good overall

all good except for very load brake squeak in reverse. multiple complaints from neighbors! this took 2 visits to dealers 1200 and 2000 miles to improve problem. Company knew they had bad brakes on 2025 car and did not notify dealer till fealer called company that was BAD batch of brakes!!

2025 GV70 3.5T Sport Prestige

After years of driving around in a full-size pickup truck, I decided I wanted something smaller, sportier and with a bit of luxury. The 2025 Genesis GV70 certainly meets those requirements and then some. The Mauna Red exterior with Obsidian Black interior and 21-inch waffle designed alloy wheels really makes the car look and feel sporty. As for luxury, I feel pampered every time I sit in the driver's seat. From the welcoming musical entry tone to the Genesis logo on the windshield to the abundance of leather and comfort of the ergo motion driver's seat it's a thrill and a pleasure to drive this vehicle. The GV70 Sport Prestige is well equipped with safety, comfort and convenience options. A lot more than any other vehicle I have owned, to include my wife's Audi Q5. After 90-days of driving my GV70 I am still discovering fantastic features of this vehicle. I'm looking forward to my first long road trip so I can check out the seat massager.

Glad I looked at a Genesis…a great car

This car is elegant and practical, a rare combination. Mine has the 375 hp twin turbo…plenty of power. There are only a few things I would change. The two hand dials next to each other create confusion. One operates the transmission, and the other is the selector for a myriad of driver choices…map view, navigation, etc. That needs to change on next design to avoid shifting gears or selecting Park when you just want to change the map view!
