Great car except for a couple of small, easily rectifiable items
Description : I have my current 2023 G90 for the last two and a half years, and the lease is ending soon. This is my second G90. I would only consider a third G90 if you correct the following items:
1. It is much too complicated to switch the music source between the front and rear USB Music ports. On the "Media" screen, there is no reason there should not be two separate "USB Music" icons, one for front USB Music port and one for the rear USB Music port, as I had on my last Cadillac. You have the space on the "Media" screen (see attached photo). I listen to lectures while driving and this should be a simple fix.
2. If I was last driving, for example, with the Radio on, there is no reason that when I restart the car, that the screen should not revert to EXACTLY what was displayed when I drove it last. Why should I have to hit the "Radio" button each time I get into the car? Ridiculous!
3. There is a large, wide screen for the entertainment system. Why aren't you using all of it when playing the radio? Why, when playing the radio, are there only a limited number of characters displayed so that when the radio is playing a song I have to guess what the name of the song is? You should expand what is displayed on the screen to use the entire screen width instead of having empty space on both sides of the displayed data. You already do this when playing USB Music.
4. As in my last G90, there should be a way to see my driving history, including the number of miles, gas mileage and average speed for my last number of trips.
I would love to discuss this with Genesis engineers.
