Love my new G70!

I got my G70 about 3 months ago and it has been great! The build quality is immaculate; no panel gaps, cheap materials, etc. I commute to work and it is very comfortable, rides great, has excellent safety features, and it looks great doing it. I highly recommend Genesis!

My opinion

Love the car, only a few issues. No room in back seat, two adults can not sit in rear seats you have to move fronts seat all the way forward and then no one fits in front.Much more road noise than I would think in a luxurious car.

Overall very happy

I’m very pleased with my lease of the 2026 2.5T AWD G70. A couple items would make it even better. A better set of gauges where I could see a bit more engine info such as turbo use would be an excellent addition.

My high expectations

It wasn’t what I imagined. There is limited space in the back seats. It has limited head room space. The rims keep getting this old like substance on them after constantly cleaning them (which makes the car look bad).

Genesis finance

Leased a g70 and was sent home in a gv70. The next day we went to pick up our vehicle and decided the very next day to return and get gv 70. They said no problem and we moved forward. When we got the g70 we traded in our 2020 Mustang. They gave us 25,000 for it and asked how much to put down. I not knowing anything about leased vehicles said okay and put 13,000 on the vehicle. When we decided to trade for the gv 70 they said no problem when we received check from dealership for the two different vehicles to just bring the one back and it was no big deal. We received the check for the original deal for g70 and okay now the second? It never came and I didn’t think too much about it because they had our vehicle and we had ours. Then I started getting text and calls from dealership about check. I informed them we never got the other check to return. This goes on and I m starting to get concerned because the check hasn’t come and they keep asking about it. So I go in and talk to them because it needs to be resolved. The finance guy tells me no he needs. Personal check from me and I state what for and he says the down payment on the gv70. I was very confused nd said we gave you 13,000 and he said no that was with the g70 and I stated no the 13,000 was the down payment. He said no that went with other lease again. We went round and he stated that we lost that 13,000 when we turned car back in the next day jd got the gv 70. So the dealership keeps the money I ask? And he says no it goes with other car nd so look up vehicle (g70) and they have it listed for full price. This to me reeks of. Scam. At no time did they say we would have give them another 13,000 for gv70. Nor did O agree to nothing of the sort. I also asked them to give back mustang and I would give back car and the money back. They said they could absolutely could not do that. Worst experience and a crooked place to go. I will never get a genesis again and do not speak favorable about the dealership.
