Unique, Sporty, Affordable, and Fun

The 2021 Genesis G70 is an exceptional value. For any discriminating driver, it has all the safety features one needs and one of the most extensive standard equipment available. It has great styling, outstanding acceleration, extremely user friendly controls and accessories, and comfortable sport seats. The pricing structures for the different G70 models can’t be beat, especially when compared to any European brand. It has a uniquely attractive look with an excellent choice of exterior paint shades. It has a truly sporty, muscular, and aggressive appearance. The affordability for any configuration is indeed a pleasant surprise. The fun factor is always there when sprinting on an open road or handling corners and winding roads. It is not well known yet but it is definitely a rising star and a hidden gem in the automotive world. Only a smart and well informed buyer will quickly discover the real merits of the Genesis G70 and its outstanding value bar none.

2021 G70 AWD Review

I purchased a 2021 G70 last month, it has AWD and the 2.0T engine. I've been very happy with the car and already received several positive comments from friends and relatives who have seen it. I love the interior design and all the safety features. The controls are handy and easy to use, and the sound system is amazing (it has 15 speakers). There's plenty of power with the turbo-charged engine and gas mileage is good. Trunk space is lacking, however, and rear legroom is not great. Thankfully, I'm retired, so don't need to drive the kids to soccer, but I have trouble getting mu golf clubs into the trunk. Overall, I love this vehicle, the plusses outweigh the minuses by far.

A Joy to Drive

Extreme luxury at a good price. Styling is impressive. Drives like a dream. Sport mode is fun, car handles corners like a race car, acceleration is impressive. Only thing that needs to change is that the front tires are a different size than rear ones so you can’t rotate them in the standard pattern and will need to replace sooner than you’d want.

Bad dealership

I'm leasing my car through Suntrup Hyundai South. I like my Genesis. I dont like Suntrup Hyundai South. The experience was poor, as their behaviors and actions were patronizing to me. I had to take time out of my day to drive to the dealer to ensure that my Hyundai Sonata 2020 I traded in was paid off. As of this email, I have not received any documentation on lease payments or documents I can take to register my vehicle. I can be reached at 314.536.3603. Any influence on this issue will be appreciated.

Great Ride

Smooth drive and turning radius is extraordinary! I would highly recommend this vehicle to those coming from a non luxury sedan who wants more power and add drive. You will see a huge difference in power and stability. There is no noise during highway driving. Absolutely, astonishingly surprising.

Good car

I would consider purchasing this car. From what I see in the pictures I like this year which is the 2021 over The 2022 I would like to physically see the new model. A lot of power, comfort ,and fun to drive. Provide you with many options I always look for more in a car. Good luck.

Vehicle has a lot of standard features. It is well built, reasonably priced even with added features. We have had owned several Kia vehicles and come to appreciate the dependability of the Hyundai/Kia brand. Further, the 10 years power train warranty is hard to beat.

Nice car with some issues

The 2021 Genesis G70 (Elite package) is a very nice looking car. For a small car, it has a very smooth ride and the car accelerates powerfully and quickly. Downsides are the "idle stop and go," which must be shut off every time you start the car, and the car's hesitant, rough ride when started in a cold condition. I also find the A/C to be under-powered.

Great Vehicle!

Purchased this car for its all-wheel drive train and high performance engine. Have not been disappointed at all with the way it looks, handles, and rides. Visibility is excellent all the way around and the convenience features are commendable. Genesis has a very competitive product at a very crowded market space. On balance, the G70 packs more bang for the buck than the rest (just my opinion, have driven several competitors over the years).

Exciting Luxury Vehicle

This car looks amazing and is super fun to drive. It is a great daily driver and a fun exciting weekend car. Not much space in the back seats but I’m usually alone so not an issue at all. Could have more features and tech but I bought this for the comfort and excitement which it excels at!

Very Close....

Very close to perfection..... nothing but positive things to say except remote start cannot be done via key FOB. Remote start is only available via smartphone app. Last thing I want to do is take my phone out, and find an app to start my car!!!!!!

Rainy Day Purchase

After previously researching online and looking most forward to the Mercedes-Benz, I also had decided the Genesis was worth a look because of the Vehicle Quality and Stats on paper. I must say that it is much better in person and behind the wheel even more so. The G70 is a worth a test drive no matter which car you think you want next.

A revelation

I had not heard much about Genesis as a luxury brand but after seeing that it was the top small luxury car in the Car and Driver and US News rankings, I did further research and I am very glad I did. The exterior and interior styling are eye catching - I love the stitching of the leather seats and the exterior accents in the Sport trim. The 3.3T engine is extremely powerful and makes the car fun to drive, though the steering/handling is a bit stiff. Reliability has been great so far, and I will see how well it handles the New England winter.

Richard's G70

In my experience with 5 New Genesis models, all 3 G series.. Genesis is simply the best. I have owned Cadillac, Lincoln, Audi, etc. None compare with the overall Genesis Brand. I am now 90 and I have owned a LOT of cars through the years, just about all kinds, styles, etc. So far no Brand has equaled the overall Genesis line, in terms of reliability, performance and overall satisfaction.
